Yeah. I took a small hiatus myself. I've been spending more time on other forums. I think Brian will have a few surprises up his sleeve when he comes back.
Haven't seen Alan since all this BS went down either. But, either way, seems like things are back to normal. It's definitely still a ghost town compared to before...

My RPM needle was acting up this morning. And my oil pressure gauge dropped all the way to 0 when it was idling outside. Kinda weird. May be time to get ahold of Steve for a cluster rebuild.

Guess my comment was too long...
But I was saying that I figured it could be the sending unit, but like Matt said, when it fails it usually pegs out to 80, not drop to 0 like mine. Kinda weird.

The Tach just dropped to 0 once when I was cruising. Then it popped back up to what it should be. The oil pressure gauge takes forever to respond in cold temps. It scared the shit out of me the first time it happened. Thought I didn't have oil pressure. But no valve noise or anything. The oil pressure gauge will stay at 0 a few seconds after start up, and the instrument cluster will start chiming "low oil pressure". Then it'll come up to about 40psi. I figured it may be the se...

The borough passed the admission to allow construction of a local raceway park!! To include a 1/4mi drag strip, dirt track, and a circuit road course!!!! We'll have a world class motorsports racing facility just 15 miles from my house!!! So stoked!!!

The stadium and drag strip should be up in 2 summers. It'll be cool to see the circuit track take affect too. See all the exotics and sport cars working on their lap times!

Yeah. It is. But, I still have to have it painted when it gets here.
They usually paint before they ship so all you have to do it put it on. But since it's got such a long journey, they recommended that they just primer it and then have it painted when it gets here. Just so it's not all scratched and dented when it arrives.

We experienced winds last week around the same speed. It destroyed a lot of shit. Haha. Trees everywhere, it tipped over BBQs and broke flagpoles.. It even took the roof off our local chinese restaurant. Lol.

The original battery from 03' is just about gone. Chevy wants $140 for a new battery w/ 700 CCA. Am I better off with something else? I really cant complain with the life of this battery.

Agreed with the Optimas. I'm not impressed. I am a used car tech at a dealership, and every single vehicle that comes in with an Optima, it tests bad. The red top in mine needs to be replaced too. It's about 200 CCAs short.

Haha that's actually where I plan to get most of my funds from. The plan is to buy my buddy's silverado that has no motor or trans. Drop my powertrain in it and sell it for just over book. So with a 12K profit margin, and an SS that needs a new powertrain, I'll be able to build what I should have built the first time. Lol. I've got john guiding me on this one and I'll have zippy come aboard once I get into cam/head specifics and tuning. So stoked.

Haha yeah. This isn't something that will happen over night. I just wanted to drop in with a bold statement and make some waves. Lol. But I can say its gonna be a very busy winter! Thinking Gen IV 427 with a 6L90E. And topping it all off with a TVS 2300. Something similar to USAbodygaurds 427, without all the polished chrome.
