  1. Wow this looks really clean, nice job bro
  2. lol very long story on the name i had asked a friend of mine to make me an account. it is until know i have access to a computer or a good smart phone, it had been a long while before i logged on and posted on the site, the name of my friend is ivan, im betting he used his info for the account problems with the ss tailgate that i referred to was that some do not have cut outs on the tailgate. as far as your wing not fitting, i clearly sent you a picture of a wing on a tailgate bolted. i wouldnt have shipped it back knowing it didnt fit. So why doesnt it fit? im not sure, either you havent attempted to fit it since you recieved or you just want to give me a hard time and i outlined it as soon as this thread came up just incase something did not fit right. seems like your looking for anything to bash me about. i dont think any business has gone without any problems. another reason why i dont post or become a vendor. I cant always make everyone happy. i try to make these affordable and alot cheaper for a reason. had i priced them at 300 or more i would see alot more complaints for 1 about the price and another for the material
  3. oh no lol i dont plan on even attempting this just thought it was a good idea and posted my estimates on making a set
  4. that is actually a very nice find i was also contemplating in making some claddings for those who wanted them, and thinking of selling them fairly cheaper for 700-800 but finding a set of claddings with brackets is hard. His are going for 1800 for the full kit and its fiberglass. kind of pricey if you ask me. thats because it can take about $250-350 to make with material IF you buy in bulk. im assuming he does. the rest should be on pure labor. but i like his idea.
  5. you would be VERY surprised at how much profit i make on these after shipping and materials. i would earn much more earning minimum wage. i sell and make these when i have time as far as my sig goes, i put it there rather sarcasticly, because i have lots of members asking if im the guy who sells them. i thought id rather clarify that before i get a pm asking if i was And as far as the box goes, you had no care for my wing what so ever, i had told you that when i make them each and every spoiler comes out the same. the one you recieved was one i already had made and was actually already sold. ive been marking them with a black outline so INCASE they came with your issue, i knew to resolve it and save the customer some time. and as you can see you can still see signs of sharpie. once i shipped it back, i added a little more support at the ends that was all. i sent it back like that to see how you liked it receiving it in a shitty box. I dont have to be here and provide ANY support if i didnt want to, not that i careless about this site, i just wanted to clear concerns that some members had here which is why i made an account. i would see threads and could not put any input. thats it
  6. I'm not going to sit here and go on and on about this. I'm out of this thread
  7. Oh and btw, just because I've sold 325 wings doesn't mean I sold them all here, I've sold 10-15,15 At most ON THIS SITE in the 2 years I've been selling these. I came to this site to provide feed back on the wings, if some sold well they sold. I have no intentions of posting them for sale here
  8. I came here not to sell items but provide feedback for the wings I sell. If I wanted to be a vendor I would be posting wings left and right He specifically asked for a new one, I gave him one. The wing he sent was poorly boxed and arrived chipped and broken, I still did not argue with that. I did as he asked already, which was a wing that fit. I did that
  9. Here's what you sent me And this is what you sent, in a shitty box, and it arrived broken aswell. Reason I did not tell you was because you were already acting smart. You would not even reply to my texts or nothing. Anyways here's what I sent back, I even told you sorry for screwing It on the tailgate I wanted to make sure it fit I'm not going to sit here type here for days. I've tried to settle it already in various threads. I have sold over 300. 325 to be exact but I rarely sell on this site. I again thank you for shedding light on this so I know now to be more careful. It is at a very low cost since it is a replica, I did not expect for these spoilers to get as popular as they did but they've done good in forums. I originally made these for my friends but when I saw they were making money off my hard work I went ahead and started selling and shipping them. Sorry for the inconvience, I did try to help you, again, I never posted them on this site before due to some issues SSS have with the tailgate, but I will not take the constant bashing. IT IS A REPLICA, not OEM. Of course there will be differences, thus is why they are not as expensive. I may not have please you, but I'm pleased with the service I've provided to others, sorry this didnt work out
  10. Sorry about the fitment issues guys, I already got that sorted out. All it needs is just a little sanding In the inside that is it. There is nothing wrong with the mold, the problem is the weather, it being too hot causes me to use alot more resin then what I'd use if it were cold thus making the wings thicker. In the past I'd grind them down the same no matter what type of weather, now I know it was a bad mistake and should of been more careful to prevent these fitment issues.
  11. Wow that truck looks cleans, can't go wrong with black
  12. Don't worry lol this time ill be more careful. Lol And unfortunately I don't remember who is who but by tomorrow I should know more or less once I'm ready to ship. Today I finally settled and fixed this problem
  13. Thanks for the back up. I stand behind every spoiler I sell, this just showed me how much more I should pay attention to detail so they fit perfect. Like I said I've sold 300, with very few problems, hopefully after this, just bumps my reputation rather then hurting it
  14. Had you sanded as I said, this would had been a fairly easy fix. Thanks for bashing though. Just gave me a heads up on how I should be more careful on these wings This was literally a 8-10 minute fix with the D.A sander. I could tell you did not do a thing I had suggested. But that's ok. At least I'm aware of what needs to be done.
  15. I'm from the valley. Deep South texas
  16. I don't make them in Houston, I ship them out there and let them settle the price. I also have customers drive to me and buy in bulk and resell up there. But yes I'm that guy
  17. I've sold several to this forum and 300 wings in total to be exact. But those right there are not mine.
  18. I've tried plasti dip on plastics for my interior before... Starts to flex with the sun, didnt even last me 1 day, Good luck, hopefully it comes out great
  19. Pics are small but looks like the double sides tape worked for you. Your truck looks great with the wing by the way.
  20. Never tried this method, does the tape hold up? I always recommend bolting because the intimidator comes like that, also because I wouldn't want some idiot to go and lean on that part of the wing and have it fall
  21. X2 I agree with this, I guess customers over think things because it requires you to drill on they're bed so they'd rather take it to the dealership, nonetheless both options work
