  1. It kind of reads like a car jockey/flipper wrote it, and they believed all the smoke the PO was blowing up their ass. He also doesn't seem to get that if your buying the truck from a collectors' standpoint, any mods are going to drive the price down, rather than up. That being said, it looks like a nice enough truck, but I wouldn't go a penny over $245,000.
  2. I think a new one is like $7 from GM.
  3. You'd just need the air bag and steering wheel out of the envoy, should be a bolt on swap. The horn should still plug in/function, but the air bag defiantly won't. I guess i wouldn't trade a working airbag for a GMC emblem, but different strokes for different folks.
  4. Strange to see one with auto temp and steering wheel controls, but cloth and a bench seat. Seems like the SS's I see are either all options or no options. Almost like this one was special ordered that way. Did the cloth int. ISS's have a cloth head rest with the DEI logo, or use the same vinyl ones the leather truck had?
  5. I see them with 300k come through the sale somewhat regularly, but never seen 794...they should have took it to a million, GM prob would have given them a new truck for free.
  6. There is a black one around here that's one of the wide load pilot trucks, got flags, lights, and stickers all over. Like Johnny said, just an old pick up.
  7. They are different slightly. Bow auto in New Hampshire has a nice one for $150. I bought some SS stuff from them, they were good to deal with.
  8. I can run it through compnine if you just want to verify that its an intimidator.
  9. According to my interchange, there are 3 different hubs. 2WD, 4WD/AWD, and the B4V/B4U/B2E(torsion bar 2WD) trucks. The SP450301 is the regular 2wd one. All the spindles are the same, so I'm sure they would go right on there, but they are different(no idea what that difference would be).
  10. Nope, comes off from the outside. Just take the clips and screws off the bottom, and cut the tape on the top. I wasn't real careful with mine as it was all getting repainted. I've heard you can use string/dental floss to saw the tape and avoid paint damage, but I've yet to try it.
  11. Yeah, I thought that was the difference...I was way off. I was looking at pics for the 5.3. oops I'm coming up with 10395213 & 10395214 for the NU4 California emission trucks. Good news is I found them as low as $525, bad news is that's per side.
  12. The Cali emission ones do. It's kind of a cross between a regular silverado one and an ss. I know some salvage yards are selling refurbished/recertified cats, but I don't know what the process involves. Did you fail a sniff test? Or you just getting the"system inefficiency" code?
  13. Not near a truck right now, but the truck side of the plug is on the harness that runs down from the engine on top of the trans. Should be just forward of where the shift indicator plugs in.
  14. Looking for some good stock height rear shocks. I'm looking to lower it next summer so I didn't want to spend a ton on new ones only to toss them when I lower it. Figured someone must have a set on the shelf collecting dust. LMK thanks
  15. Escalade or denalis are 3.73s. You could get a regular Silverado 4.10 carrier and just change the passenger side leg of the carrier. A lot cheaper than finding an ss one.
  16. Looks good overall, few details need to be sorted out, but no deal breakers. Price seems like the high side of fair. Ditch the gripper tires and the pinstripe and rock it.
  17. We just got an '05 silverado 1500 in, it was unknown miles, figured the cluster was burned out. But this is what it shows, never seen that before. Is it a programming issue? or ??

    Dash question

I think getting an upper from a non-ss and cutting/grinding it to fit as a lower would be about the closest you'll get.
  19. Not that they would have gone though the effort, but you can get new buttons for $25.
  20. Its front wheel drive(fwd) says so right in the ad! I assume that means AWD.
  21. Email me the pics eberhama at yahoo.com
  22. Not unless the owner got a payout, or it was transferred into the insurance co's name. Being that it was a day, nothing would go on the title other than the police report.
