  1. Selling a set of SS brackets. What you see is what you get. $250 plus $20 to ship anywhere in the lower 48.
  2. Pretty easy, straight forward swap. The rear a/c vent on the console wont function, and the non-console seats don't have their own arm rests, but no one will ever notice either. The rest just drops in.
  3. Its was/is NZchevyman's, who bought it as a theft recovery, who it was stolen from kaze_v8's. It was destined to go to New Zealand and be a RCSB clones parts truck as seen here: http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/89247-complete-ss-clone-watch-this-space/
  4. You'd have to know someone who could change the options associated with the trucks VIN at the GM corporate level, wouldn't be easy or worth the comparatively small bump in price, IMO. On the other hand, a junior high kid with a few photoshop skills could fart out a convincing COA without too much trouble. Wouldn't be a selling point/deal breaker for me.
  5. 6" body lift, 12" chassis lift, 35" tires....a grill guard/front bumper from a diesel locomotive, maybe some truck nutz...ahh a guy can dream
  6. I used the plastic rivets that hold the fender flares on the regular silverados.
  7. https://newjersey.craigslist.org/pts/6142946304.html
  8. If anyone in the upper Midwest(including Chicago area) needs one, I can do $50+$15 to ship. I can ship them speedee, but not ups(considered an explosive) we have seven of the bowtie ones.
  9. Selling a complete set of side cladding with brackets. Only missing one front door bracket. All are in great shape. Also have a complete set of front bumper brackets to mount the SS cover. I will thrown in the front bumper bar with frame brackets if you want to pick it up in person. $1500/obo Not looking to separate, Will be going on Craigslist and the bay next week so act fast.
  10. I know no one asked...but, here's what the emblem looks like when you pry it out of the bag (from a blown impala SS bag)
  11. That is correct. And for that matter, the envoy and the escalade bag with the Cadillac crest are the same bag also.
  12. The harness on that side of the motor drops down and plugs into the pass. side O2 sensors. The plugs for the oil sender, knock sensors, and cam sensor are all right next to each other on the back of the block behind the intake. There are a couple grounds there too. Those little bastard red squirrels can get into some pretty small spaces. They love to set up shop on the back of the intake on my wifes grand prix. The car never sits for more than 24hrs at a time, but I have to evict them every couple weeks anyway.
  13. Prob not a real common problem, but 1 of my wheels is a rep and the caps are not. I can get the cap on, but it really wants to spring back off. Anybody dealt with that and find a solution?
  14. It's on next Wednesdays copart sale, in West Warren, Massachusetts.
  15. The guy that buys this one could sure use it
  16. Man...why does this stuff always have to be on the other side of the country, I've got everything to put that back on the road. Is it salvage title or parts only?
  17. I cracked it open, fluid and gears were clean. Non bent side, axle had a little play, the bent side had a lot in the bearing, and it was wearing on the bearing surface of the axle pretty good. Hoping a straight axle and some bearings and seals cures it.
  18. The rear axle in my truck is making a fair bit of noise. The center section was gone through about 10k miles ago with new bearings and used gears(about 90k on them). Because I was in a hurry, I didn't do the axle bearings. The axle bearings have some up/down wiggle to them, not sure if that's normal. I havent had the cover off, but the backlash seems good and the pinion doesn't have any wiggle. I did discover my right axle is bent slightly. So what's the chances that the noise (low rur-rur-rur that gets louder with speed) is in fact axle bearings and not carrier bearing or gears? Is it possible? Thoughts?
  19. Yeah, that would be the problem. 2500's generally have the single stage airbags, and the 03/04(maybe 05) crew cabs have the "always on" passenger airbag. You'll need to figure out what your truck had originally, and what year your seats came out of. The pic you posted is of the passenger weight sensor, so that might be an original seat.
  20. The airbag module is under the drivers seat, its a silver box bolted to the floor. It's hard to tell, but I think the one in your pic is the seat position sensor for the dual stage air bag. My system shows 12220290 or 12231770 as the module part numbers. They interchange with any non-crew cab '03 1500. Have you tried the front airbag sensors under the radiator support? That's what usually goes bad and trips the airbag light.
  21. Its a 1500HD, but the point stands. It always makes me wonder if those dummies think some crappy ebay badges make their truck worth more? or if they paid more because they're dummies and are not trying to pass it on to the next guy?
