Ya but I thought after the engine warms the piston slap will quiet down. Mine does not

Ok so I bought a new truck to rip around the winter and such. And I noticed a ticking noise coming from the engine. I you tubed piston slap and it sounds the same, but I read that after the engine warms the piston slap should quiet down. That was the case for the iron block 5.3, but mine is the aluminum block 5.3 HO. Any input here guys? Could it be lifters. Oh ya the truck is a 2005 silverado 4x4 ext cab l33 5.3
