  1. How much are you looking to get for the engine cover?
  2. I went with the Mcgaughys cnotch and if I could go back would have probably done the belltech one beacuse it comes with a template if I remember correctly.
  3. I found a used set of Intro Twisted Vista I's for sale a few hours away from me. They come with tires but the tires on them are junk so I would have to replace them. They are 20x8.5 and 20x10 for rear and they need to be polished. Any idea what I should offer for them or what would be a killer deal? Also, can anyone guarantee that 20x10 will clear the rear? The style of the wheel is like this (picture from google).
  4. I noticed recently that on their site there was some individual mufflers for sale, I believe it was the dB series? I do not know much about them though, I believe they are weaker materials (10 year warranty vs lifetime I think?) but may sound similar for a fraction of the price. I shopped around for my corsa sport forever and eventually just bit the bullet on the cost
  5. I tried to attempt the LED switch a long time ago and had a problem with my A/C. It would never light up. Today I took it apart and moved the top rightmost led and boom, two of them lit. I re-soldered it and now it works normally, but the rest of the LED lights will not light up. It seems that the way this circuit board is built that they are chained together. Does anyone know which bulb I should try and fix next to make the chain continue or have any tips on how to figure it out?
  6. For anyone not able to view the pictures, add this to your browser if you are using google chrome. It will repair the links. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-embed-fix/naolkcpnnlofnnghnmfegnfnflicjjgj?hl=en
  7. If this is what I think it is my truck had one of these put on originally before I got an OEM one. I think my body guy took the bottom (and top half maybe?) of the bumper off and bolted this one over the middle bar (which was the chrome part of the bumper). The bumper had mounting holes on the sides on the inside of the fender well and mounting holes where the grille goes in the center if I remember correctly. I think there was also 3m tape involved on the middle bar and on top to prevent the bumper from warping but I am not certain. Let me know if there's anything I can do or answer to help!
  8. Did this end up selling already?
  9. I cannot believe that this is considered the "RST" when it used to be a street truck. What in the world is up with those rails on the bed? And 4x4?
  10. It's been like this for around two years and no issues . I tried to get a body shop to roll them once but they were too worried about paint cracking so I never did.
  11. I'm dropped 5/7~ with stocks on a 275/40/20 and still not sure if they even really clear like you are wanting as after long roadtrips I have a little bit of wear on my rear tires sidewalls from the inner lip (not much, but you can barely see some lines on the tire) from hitting dips in the highway going 70+ mph. Not sure if it helps much as I don't know the offset you are looking for, but the factory wheel may not be it! . One temporary solution could be to run the factory bumpstops instead of the drop ones and trim them a little so that your axle can't go high enough for the wheels to try and tuck, although it may not be the smoothest ride. I ran cut factory bumpstops on mine at 2/4 that I drilled small holes in but it did ride rough at times. Very nice looking truck though, great find!
  12. Somebody on this forum was making these stickers and selling them dirt cheap compared to buying from the dealer awhile back but I don't remember who - Edit - 15178667 Try this for the part number! Still trying to find who was selling the reprints.
  13. You have a full set of cladding brackets for a clone? Just making sure I read that right lol.
  14. Still waiting on an intimidator one with the logo engraved into the bowtie These do look nice however.
  15. That's weird, I have always read that the Intimidators have a different suspension than the other ss trucks. Then again, they also appear to be the same height and such as far as I can tell...
  16. I saw someone selling a kit for it on facebook all OEM (according to him) but it has no brackets to mount with .
  17. No issues and they were on for probably 2 years or so. I went back to the stock ones when I went lower as the rear would have been really low with shackles and hangers both. Maybe some minor squeaking if I went up something really steep but I would say its my leafs rather than the hangers fault. I can try and get a part number and get back to you! If you are set on not drilling anything out, I believe belltech makes a drop leaf. I would expect it to ride more stiff than the shackle/hanger combo, but much easier to reverse. I was dropped 2/4 for a little while and hit the stop at times although I never replaced the bump-stops with the small pancake ones (due to fear of really slamming it hard if I bottomed out), instead I just cut the factory ones and drilled them. I am dropped 5/7~ now and did notch the frame. I used the mcgaughys notch as the belltech one is cut a bit higher and a lot of people have to cut the brace under the bed as well as the frame (although this could be fixed by just running bigger bump-stops I suppose). If I did it again, I would probably use the belltech notch as it comes with a guide to line up on the frame to cut with if I remember correctly. I still haven't figured out how you are supposed to get the mcgaughys one 100% aligned since the axle will most likely move a little when it rises up. It has been so long but if I am correct, I used mcgaughys c notch, spindles, shackles, and flip kit with belltech shocks and coils.
  18. I used Mcgaughy's hangers on my single cab and they were built very well, was just a pain getting those rivets out of the frame to bolt them in. I would imagine most people around here are running belltech though.
  19. I always love seeing this truck too, hopefully we get a news update soon .
  20. These would most likely be in pretty rough shape for the front two as well?
  21. Anyone know how much SS Silverado seats in good condition are worth (no tears, rips, etc)? Found a set that look like roughly 50k miles on them and am considering buying for the single cab but do not know what to offer the guy. Thanks!
  22. Kills me to see these threads show up as often as they do . Hopefully they find it safe and in the same condition it was in when it was stolen.
  23. I've seen 4.8s and 5.3s go off craigslist for $500-$700 all day long. I was going to say that would be a good option for a budget build until I saw Richard and Matt already mentioned it. If you shop around some you will probably make it out cheaper with the V8 as far as parts go, I'm sure you could find someone or a shop to swap it out at a decent price too. If you haven't already, I would call around your area and see what they are going to charge to put the supercharger on vs a v8 swap in labor. I would hate to see you spend a lot of money on the V6 and lose to someones 4.8 or 5.3 with a few bolt ons.
  24. Dang makes me sad to hear, always wished you would have made one with the intimidator logo on it .
  25. How much are you looking to get for all of the cladding with the brackets?
