  1. Dang this hurt to watch . Best of luck with the truck, hopefully it will be repairable!
  2. I'm afraid you are probably right . Currently debating if it will be cheaper to buy a new one or to buy a used one and have it repaired. Do you have any ideas on what you would want for yours and what kind of work it would require?

    2007 SS Clone

The hood is the standard 06/07 hood. My grille is a painted standard 06/07 but if you go for the 03-05 style the mesh is unique to the SS trucks. You could most likely find the bumper cover and the brackets on here or on Facebook marketplace, I see a lot of parts go around there.

    2007 SS Clone

Will repopulate this thread shortly! I tried to delete this one temporarily but had no luck.
  5. My truck is a 2007 classic (03-06 body style) single cab silverado. We are converting it to a v8 and have got the motor bolted up to the 4l60e with the v6 converter using a 5.3 flywheel. We got a harness off a guy who claims it came from an 05 silverado. Whenever we started running the harness, we realized that there was nothing there for the electrical fans. After further examining the V6 harness, we realized that it also has a module that looks like some sort of alternator control module. I believe that the sole purpose of this is for the electrical fans?Alternator control module wiring:V6 harness plugs that are missing on the V8 (One goes to fans and other goes to the module):Would I be better off getting a proper harness for a 2006/2007 with electric fans or are the harnesses identical other than the alternator plug and the pinning for the fans (meaning I can pull them off the V6?Also, are all of the harnesses off of any 06-07 2wd 4l60e going to be identical?
  6. I tried 275/45/20 on my 5/7 drop and the front wheels wouldn't turn in the fenders but at 4/6 they probably would have cleared. I now run a 275/40/20 on the stock SS wheel. This tool will probably help you as you can see how tall your tire is getting. https://tiresize.com/calculator/
  7. I'm building a LQ9 bored out to 6.2 with a small cam and plan to daily it, I'll let you know how it works out for me lol. - Edit - Oh wow I just realized that this post was as old as it is. I thought it was recent as someone bumped it lol.
  8. Still on the hunt for one of these in good shape. I have yet to see one that wouldn't need some sort of body work other than just paint
  9. How is fitment and did you ever figure out if they were the 3/4 or 7/8? Curious what the differences are from the TSP over these since I have been looking at both brands a lot lately.
  10. @Isegura was looking for one I believe.
  11. You will either have to drop the rear 2" or do a 2/4 drop for it to sit level. I used the Mcgaughys kit when I dropped my single cab 2/4 before I went lower.
  12. There was a brief write up by Timmy on gmfullsize years back if I remember right. - Edit - Found the link for you: https://www.gmfullsize.com/threads/how-to-manual-to-oem-power-windows-03-07.121472/
  13. I have heard good things about KP and Trick turbo, I bet that they would sell the manifolds separately if that is what you are looking for. I'm sure others will chime in who know more about it as well.
  14. If you decide to sell it I'd love to see some pictures. My dad has been looking for a really clean one in TX and might be interested.
  15. https://austin.craigslist.org/pts/d/silverado-ss-cladding-and/6686209203.html Not mine but found this on craigslist when I was looking for some before I ran across a black set. Best of luck!
  16. I think it will be fine on AWD if you go somewhere around a 2/4 drop. My single cab is lowered around 5/7 and I daily it but it's 2wd.
  17. Near San Angelo rught now but go up towards the DFW area a lot! @matslp448 Thank you! I'd really like to find one with the plastic pads and all but if I can't find any this may have to work.
  18. I finally managed to score a set of cladding with all of the brackets for the single cab, unfortunately the seller had already sold the bumper. I am looking for a rear bumper in good shape with the brackets to mount it. Let me know what you have, thanks!
  19. Looks amazing, curious if there is anywhere local to me who does this kinda stuff.
  20. This is users BLAZE3's truck that I used as the base. I believe he is dropped 2/4~ and on 22s (SS Reps), I scaled the billet wheels to match that size best I could. Kinda a rough render, it is really hard to photoshop billets due to the reflections and the width of the wheel. Hope it helps!
  21. I will try and get a render, stock height or lowered? I may have made the wheels a bit too big again, like I said it is a bit hard to scale haha. Hope this is what you were looking for.
  22. Sure, can you link me to which ones? I am running across multiple models when looking into them.
  23. Here is a quick render I came up with shortly. If you want a better one let me know, this one is not perfect by any means. The wheels in this may be more accurate to 24's rather than 22's, it is kinda hard to judge how big a wheel will be in photoshop unless it is the same size as the ones currently on the vehicle.
  24. Post a pic of your truck and the wheels you want and I'll see what I can do
  25. If it is an extended cab clone I can understand the whole "why buy a fake one" thing. It seems like 90% of the clones I see are regular cabs though which was never a factory option. I have been working on a regular cab clone forever now, it has been a fun project and it's getting a motor built for it this summer so it goes as fast as it looks . Lol.
