Thanks guys for all the welcome love. It's a platform to start with and I love the truck. I will keep you guys updated as I have plans for it to make it my own and different from what it is. If I was looking to lower it after the body lift came off in the future. What's the best way you guys have found out and what parts?

I got it for under 17k, had to hassel with the dealership for about a week but thought I came out pretty good on it. yes i agree i would like findd a set of 33" tires to put on there with the wheels and have more of an all terrain tire on it.. and the truck isnt a big super lift, 3 inch body lift and it actually sits level now. But i will be thinking about headers, intake, already has exhaust and a programmer possibly in the future.

Newbie here from st.louis just bought my first 05 Ss Silverado. 3inch body lift with 20" wheels. Love the truck and looking forward to doing some mods to the motor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
