On the WWII i got a 9/10 also. I missed the total losses question. As for the weapons quiz it crashed on me an never finished.

I used mine all the time. I kept the compressor, tire plug kit, breaker bar,socket and torque wrench in mine. Also stored the umbrella for the wife. And when we were travelling I locked up the laptop in there. It was very usefull.

I ended up trading my dad for a 06 TBSS. He was getting a 09 ltz 4x4 and traded the SSS in on that. The dealer gave a nice trade value so I eneded up with a vehicle that has 30k+ less miles and is almost a full second quicker in th 1/4 than my 04 SS.

I have run near identical times with the vararam vr-6 and the volant with the down tube. Volant does look better out of the two.

Nevermind. It has been traded in. I got close enough to what I wanted for a trade so it is gone.

While on the phone with one of the major cai companies they said that they do use WD-40. When asking them about waht i could use on their filters he told me, "We use that expensvie stuff in the blue and yellow can..... wd-40". I was told that the red for the k&n and the blue for the volant are dyed so that you can see where you already covered.

You might want to try some of the local places. I drive south on 51 to a place. I have gotten my goodyear ls and my yokohama for the ss for 129.00 and 139.00 and i forget what i paid the third time but the price that he quotes has always been for the tire, mounting and balancing. The only extra beyond that price were the tax and tire disposal fee (i think 2 per tire).

I got mine this morning. 3.87 for 93 and 3.67 for 87 and yes it went up about 15 cents.

I know you were asking about 2wd but here is my post from last year @ tbss.com Well last night we took my dad's awd SS up to the track. Bone stock with 1500 miles on it. First pass was the best. The high for the day was 72 and I think the display had 55-65 degrees through the night. Do you have the stock magnaflow tip with the drain hole in the bottom and the rolled lip? Try taking it off and see if it still whistles. I think mine did when I had the original tips on (15840) but I have switched to different tips a while ago and don't notice the whistle any more.
