    I left the pin off of mine when I lowered it since it got lost and I was too lazy to get another one. I regretted it months later when it fell off and had to do some mechanic work on the side of the road. If I were you id look up under there every now and then to make sure it's still tight.

    That flickering problem was happening to me 98% of the time that I turned on my truck. Until I bought a new battery since my old one was no good. It hasn't done it since.
