  1. It would be easier and cheaper to do a LQ4. X2
  2. The diff. is the lenth delphi wires are about 9" and the melco wires are 10". Take one off and mesure it. then you know which set up you have. Or you can just get the longer ones because they'll fit either set up.
  3. You are correct they are 823 heads and yes the valves look rough. they are l92 heads. Are they still worth lookin into, i suppose i could put in LS3 valves then.
  4. 892 is the casting #. No i'm bone stock other than a CAI kit. I was thinkin they might be worth havin around for future mods. From my understanding they are the same heads (LS3/L92)
  5. I just came across some ls3/892 heads. Is there a benifit to swapping these onto a LQ9 engine? Qurious what some of you gurus might think thanks.
  6. I vote white. I saw a white TBSS awhile back that was blacked-out, black rims, badges and air ducts, etc. The thing was just agressive and sick lookin.
  7. Damn, All those trucks are sick. I like the big wheels, dropped on 28's what more can you say! That Caddy EXT is sexy. Props to all you So-Cal guys.
  8. GM is just returning the favor to honda, considering the ridgeline is a rip off of the avalanche. It looks ok to me, but we'll have to see how long it takes for them to implement this truck to the U.S. I'm still waiting for the chevy trax, and chevy beat (Transformers 2 Autobots) to make it to the U.S. Not to mention the chevy Groove also. The Beat is sopposed to be in the U.S. re-badged as the Chevy Spark, but I think that got pushed off to 2012. So i'm sure if this does make it over here it probably wont be until 2015 or some time after that
  9. I like the color of the rims, but dont like the the no center cap look. purple lugs or not it just looks like you lost your caps. the bronze looks very cool though.
  10. I was wondering what was going on with this truck. ShawnSS do you have any actual updates for us?
  11. HA HA! That goes right along with your motto. - "If it doesnt fit force it"
  12. If you transplant a d-max, you'll obviously want the allison trans behind it but you could do a 4l80 if you wanted. You'd have to transfer over the computers (PCM & TCM) the entire engine wiring harness, and the fuel supply system (fuel lines, sender etc.). I dont think the axles would hold up though nor the t-case. But theres only one way to find out LOL! I honestly don't think it would be that hard just really expensive. Here is a company called Durabub, that specializes in duramax conversions. If I were to do it this how. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8yVrko9PhqU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  13. Do you have to add resistors to all the led bulbs? what happens if you dont
