Cant beat a day like that. Sounds like Your truck runs Healthy. Usually stock is around 15.1, so you would definitely feel good about that. With a tune you should definitely be around 14.6ish with all things being equal of track conditions when you ran the 14.93.

I had the same thing happen exactly. My truck seemed to run fine honestly, just an annoying check engine Light. I cleaned it Just like you did, it went away, but every 3-4 months it would come back. After about 2 years of the this back and forth, I replaced the MAF sensor and ive been check engine Light free for like 2 years now. They aren't cheap, I think it was like 250.00 with my discount from GM, but hey, atleast the CEL went away for good. It worked for me, Obviously its no garuntee it will fix yours, but it sure sounds like the fix. Good luck

Yeah my stock PCM idle is around 600... too Low IMO. My wheatley PCM idles around 700 and the truck idles so much better around there.

Woah woah, you said you had problems when you started running octane booster? I Was running Octane booster for a couple months only because the highest grade we have in Alaska is 90. My Idle started getting Low, rough and bumpy.. in drive I felt like it wanted to die.... the Octane booster had fouled My plugs.... yes they were jet black... check your plugs! I put new plugs in, stopped using octanr booster and no problems since... that was 15 months ago The plugs that fouled out in my truck when running octane booster were less than a year Old also.... so yes... i wont put that crap in my tank anymore/ever again

First Off My cats Arent totally shot, but they have 85k original Miles on them and figure as a preventive maint. I would replace them... they have done their Job. My question Is, Im looking at the Univeral Fit High FLow Magnaflow Cats. Are these going to Fit Ok, or it the Muffler shop going to give Me excuses that they couldn't make them work. I know Welding will be required, that's fine... Ok cool, thanks for the info Jddmj! A really nice thing about white vehicles is how well it hides swirls/scuffs in the clear... where as with for example arrival blue or black it shows every damn flaw. lol
