    Out of those two I'd go with the 1187.If you are hunting water fowl, a semi- auto is the way to go. The 3 1/2" loads are perfect for passing goose shots.This year I primarily used my Remington Versa Max. I also have a Beretta Xtrema 2 with kickoff for waterfowl.I have a Saiga 12, and Mossberg maverick pistol grip pump for home defense.

    I carry a S&W M&P Compact 40, in the center console. It would be awesome to have a custom holster molded next to your knee on the drivers side though.

      Now when the cat only shows up and walks all over the car in the middle of the night. I'm a pretty decent shot but there is no way I'm going to chance hitting the car or truck. Lunch meat and a cat trap works wonders.
