  1. My 03 has been in south Florida it's whole life and my under neath is 10 x's cleaner than that. Mine has almost 0 rust at all.. Never garage kept and daily driven. I would look for another one. You can find them cheaper also..

  2. Thanks.. yeah these new 6.2 with the 8 speed is perry impressive.. what ratio are you in the back? 3:23? I ordered my truck how I wanted.. I wanted the 3:42 so I choose to get the nht package..

Got the 3.42 also.. I get some great fuel mileage as well. I can get between 21 and 24 on the highway and get 500 miles out of a tank. Not to mention it's a feeling rocket for nothing really being done to it.

  3. I have the same set up but I got the Denali. Love it and it's a freaking beast. I got that baby to 140 mph and let off idk how much faster it would have gone and that's with big ass wheels and tires.. Welcome back

  4. Keep it like I said before 15k is a gift. The right person will come along. I believe to the right person it's worth way more like I said my truck is worth 18k to me anything less than that I'm gonna feel like I have it away..

  5. Those numbers are probably right for an all wheel drive with Bolt ons? But were talking about just a muffler swap here! Anyways you can't tell me a 6000# truck won't benefit from a little back pressure off the line!!

Back pressure is a myth.. My buddy has a stock 06 with the same dual in out Magnaflow as I have it has no problem what so ever getting off the line. His truck sounds great and runs great. I have a brand new 2015 Denali with a 6.2 and a 8 speed. Took off the stock muffler the big ass Cat and the resonator, truck runs like a bat outta hell. Sounds amazing and has no prob knocking the tires off from a stop or a roll.

  6. Hey Jason or to anybody else on here i currently have a flowmaster 40 series muffler with single in dual out installed on my 97' Chevy and yeah it drones too much but i knew nothing of mufflers at the time and i wanted something that was louder than the stock muffler it came with, i haven't touched my '03 SS for the same reason, is magnaflow a better muffler? Like no drone? and louder? I want to be careful what i install on my SS i want it to sound nice..

I run a Magnaflow and it does have some drone but I also have long tube headers no cats and its dumped. It has a good low rumble bit is still quiet on a stock SS. There are some really good mufflers out there. Bassani, Borla, Corsa, these are also good quality and good flowing mufflers.

  7. I have the super 40 duel in/out on mine and it sounds good! The 10s are to raspy sounding IMO! Alot of people on this site hate flowmaster but there not bad! The first muffler I put on my truck was a magnaflow and I couldn't really here it and it made my truck slower from a stop! IMO these trucks need some back pressure to get moving and my super 40 gives me that! Anyways good luck on your muffler search! You'll probably end up switching out a few before you find the one you like! Like me! Lol!

This is full of fail.. These trucks don't need a bunch of back pressure to get going. 0-60 in 5.3 seconds and 1.80 60ft times lol I need no help. Flowshitters are at the bottom of the flow charts. If your looking for performance get a muffler with no baffles. Each to there own and everyone has an opinion. Just depends on what your looking for.
