  2. Hahahaha .. Really !! No kidding who knew those round discs behind the wheels stopped the truck. On a serious note .. I just need to know if the rear discs are 12.79 or 13 inches I guess there are two options for that year . Thanks again !!
  3. Just wondering if anyone knows which braking system is in the 03 SSS ? Looking to do pads and rotors but don't know how to look them up ?!
  4. I understand that the hp gains are smal if any .. Looking at it more for looks under the hood !! Any idea what is actually involved ?
  5. From my understanding the ls6 intake is a direct fit .. My only concern that I am not sure about is ... I'm wondering if the ls6 intake has all the proper holes for fuel pressure regulator and valve cover breather ! Wondering what type of fancy custom work will have to be done if Any!! Also fuel rails and injectors??? Stock ?? Ls6 ??? Aftermarket ?? Thanks for any help u guys can be !!
  6. Hey what do u guys think !! 03 SS with long tubes no cats custom 3inch exhaust intake and road tune !! Ran lastnight for the first time 14.928 and secon run at 14.918 !! Thought i would be around 14 flat with te mods ! What do u guys think!!
  7. Getting ready to install my long tubes and high flow resonators .. Was wondering how the truck is going to run without a tune !! Won't be able to have a tune done for a week or so ... Just wondering if the truck will run okay or good enough to get by till I have the PCM tune done !! Anyone have any input !! Thanks chris .
  8. was hoping to get a few questions anwsered to make installation of my new headers easier !! was wondering first is the stick manifold studs on the ss can be used with the installation of the new obx headers!! Also i have a broken pass side rear stud that is broken so im just lookin for the size for replacement (3/8) im thinking !! also if i cant use the stock studs i will need to know size to replace all of them !! well thanks for reading.. chris
  9. Yeah nice and loud ?!? Do u know which model xr1 it is
  10. Will corsa sell just the muffler ?? If so how much more money are we talkin ?!?
  11. thanks for the input!! i def want my ss to be loud. im very happy with the overall quality of the system, def well crafted. Im debating now on a header set up, was looking at doing the obx long tubes or my second pick was the dynomax set up. performace wise i know i will be happy with either but i want a setup that is going to last and not crack or become a problem. any input on these setups???
  12. So I just put the corsa touring side exit cat back exhaust on my 03 ss and I was alittle disapointed on how quite it is !! I heard from a number of people that the touring was the way to go over the sport due to the drown that the sport gives off ! Just wondering if maybe some how I recieved the wrong muffler ??? Or is there a break in period ?? It sounds 100% stock and I am def not happy I spent all the money for a good name exhaust that sounds stock !! What do u guys think ??
  13. Just wondering if anyone has ever used the long tube headers before ? Wondering if any welding is requires after the Hugh flow cats ?! Or are they clamped to the stock exhaust
  14. How do I ask a ?
