  1. I've seen you on the road too. Saw you yesterday and I honked at you, but you wouldn't look at me either. I will be in the cities Saturday. Going to one of Erik's Bike Shops to check out some good mountain bicycles and to do a mountain bicycle fitting to find out the right sized mountain bicycle I should be riding. If you can, you should come out and stop by. My truck won't be hard to spot in a parking lot.
  2. Sweet hey I've seen you down there. I have been down there a lot actually, driving truck of course. I tried to wave and get your attention, but you wouldn't look at me.
  3. I bought my Beretta Z26 for $500 back in 2006. It had a blown engine, so I had to get the engine replaced. And from there I just kept fixing little things and replacing damaged, broke and worn out parts to make it look better and make it run better.
  4. Oh I haven't done anything with it yet. Been busy trying to get other projects done. I will be looking into this more later on. I just got other priorities to do first.
  5. Very nice, too bad amazon is out of stock right now. I will have to order these sometime and try to clean my SS up to look nice.
  6. Okay so I have been seeing some Silverado SS out here in Minnesota and Wisconsin lately. Just saw a nice red one today, it had a little bit of rusted spots on the wheel wells on the box of the truck, but other than that it looked good. I tried to get the guys attention, but he wouldn't look at me. I want to know who on here lives in the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin? I am from western Wisconsin. I driving truck in Minnesota and Wisconsin everyday now pulling reefer trailers for Schneider. If anyone ever sees a white Schneider truck pulling reefer trailers in Minnesota and Wisconsin, don't be a stranger and wave or do something to say hello. If it's me you find, I will wave right back.
  7. My Beretta Z26 gets 30 to 33 MPG. I also got a custom cat-back straight pipe dual exhaust system and a cold air intake on it so those two help with the MPG. My dual exhaust just has a catalytic converter and y'ed dual exhaust at the back with chrome angled exhaust tips welded on. Gives it a nice tone for a 3.1L V6 engine and it's not very loud either. Car has been reliable.
  8. Well, I made another delivery to this place this girl works at and she was outside sealing up another drivers trailer. I happen to get there at the right time as she was doing that then she started walking back I side. I happen to be going inside go check in and I greeted her and just did a little small talk, it was short though because the distance to the counter desk and the door is like 15 feet. Short walk and short time to chat with her. I am making another delivery there today though, so I might be able to talk to her a little more maybe.
  9. Well I am looking to do trail riding and off road trail riding. Also going to try to go ride mountains.
  10. Hey I know this is probably an odd question, but does anyone on here go mountain biking? I was just looking at a nice specialized mountain bicycle on eBay that I am thinking about buying. It's one of those bicycles that you can upgrade the front fork and the rear shock and the swingarm, stem, disc brakes and all that good stuff. Specialized full suspension mountain bicycles cost in upwards of $800 to $8000+. Anyone on here ride those and does anyone on here actually go mountain biking on trails and mountains?
  11. HA, I already bought one. I will tell you, the Intimidator Silverado SS is really a true sight of to see. I like mine however I don't like that I have to park it outside and leave it parked outside when I have to leave back out on the road to work driving truck everyday until the weekend. I get to go home every weekend now, but still I am afraid of mice finding my SS and just letting themselves in to chew up stuff and piss and poop everywhere in it. I am still waiting on a storage unit to open up so I can park my SS in one of those instead of outside.
  12. Okay cool. I was looking at buffers at wal-mart today and also polish for wheels and the body and wax and all that stuff. I really want to get my SS cleaned up nice and good.
  13. Yeah the one I got, I just noticed today when I was putting the cover back over my SS, noticed a hole that wasn't there on Saturday when I got home and pulled the cover off my SS. It looks like it's been chewed into by mice I think. Effing mice ruin everything they get into.
  14. Yeah, she doesn't work at a store or anything where customers come in to buy things. Its a warehouse cold storage place. So me going there on my day off would be odd and she would think I'm a creep most likely or a stalker. This is the only way I will be able to talk to her is when I pickup a load and deliver a load from and to this place she works at. I go there enough as it is anyway so not really a thrill or exciting to drive there on my own time to try to seduce myself to her.
  15. Well, I could have the chance to ask this girl out on Monday. I will be delivering another load to the place she works on Monday. If she isthere, iI could tty to ask her.
  16. Well if I am going to be able to do this to my SS, then I am going to need a list of everything I will need to cut and buff my SS and make it look nice. I don't know what I need to do the job.
  17. 03SSBoy has a Gaylord Speedster tonneau cover to sell. Message him
  18. That's the way I was going to go about it. I just have a fear of trying to talk to a girl I take interest in when she is around other people and especially when she is at work. Though I don't work there, I still am afraid kind of, but I need to break free from being afraid of that. I will have to wait until the next time I pickup and/or deliver a load to the location. That will be someday next week.
  19. Yeah, that sounds like it's worth a shot. Never used any pickup lines before, this will be a first.
  20. That might get her attention. I know trying to ask them out in front of other people shows your confident. Doesn't it? And I know girls like a guy that is confident.
  21. Okay so since I finally got to transfer driving jobs, I now get to be closer to home a lot more and I go to the same places to pickup and deliver loads. Well at this one of the locations I go to, there is a pretty girl who works there and I just not sure how to go about trying to ask her if she would maybe like to go out on a date with me? I don't want to bore anybody and I don't like to sound lame. I have been out of the dating scene for almost 5 years now and I kind of have been thinking somewhat of maybe just going up to a nice attractive girl I take interest in and asking her out on a date, but I am not that desparate. I am just not sure how to go about asking a girl out at the place she works and also not sure about asking her out in front of other people either. I know if she says no, then oh well you just move on. I sound dumb right now I know. Anybody got any advice on how to play this?
  22. Man if I could do this myself, that would be really sweet.
  23. Actually I think I remember hearing and being told that overdrive gear is good for cruising on flat roads and small hills. But when going up bigger hills it's best to shift out of overdrive and use just the drive gear which I was told is better on the transmission for going up hills. Someone told me using overdrive to pull big hills, you will lose your overdrive gear eventually.
  24. I'm not talking about a tonneau cover. I am referring to a vehicle cover that you would put over your truck to cover it and protect it from stuff getting on your vehicle like birds crapping on it and landing on it and tree pollen and dust and also to keep it clean and keep things from scratching it.
