Hey all, okay so if you are at all wondering, I was offered a job to work at someones private house, he does his own wood business making things for companies and what not, I am not sure and don't know all fo the details, but he offered me a job to work for him and so I took it. It's a part time job though because I applied at MPS Staffing here in wisconsin, there is an office located around my area near by, and after filling out all of the paper work and stuff, i left the office and MPS Staffing called me on my cell phone and offered me a job right away. I didn't get 1 mile down the road from there office and they offered me a job. So I got in at a place called SMC working 12 hour shifts on days making $10 an hour. It's good, and the schedual is work 2 days on, then get 3 days off, then work 2 days on, then 2 days off, then 3 days on, 2 days off and so on. Most of you should know how that goes, but anyway, so I got in there working full time as a temp though. So it's temporary full time, until after I been there for 3 months and unless SMC sees my work ethic and decides they want to hire me on full time through them, then I'll be in, but for now I'm a temp working full time at SMC. So it works out well. Now only thing that I got going through my mind is not screwing this job up and doing well at work to keep it. I show good work ethic so far. I feel good about getting two jobs, but there is a big part of me missing inside, and it sucks, and it hurts. But I wanted to let you all know and see what you all think. Hey if this job thing goes well for me and I work here long enough, I may just be able to go look for a 2006 Silverado SS Intimidator sometime this winter and probably take out a loan to buy one...except you know, with a good down payment that I save up for to get the loan to buy the truck, but yea...maybe. I'm praying that I can make this happen because it would mean a lot to me if it does. I got my old truck up for sale still and no one really looking at it or wanting to buy it, so I'm just still going to try to sell it. Well anyone, let me know what you think

Okay so today I went out to apply for a couple jobs and the first job I went to, drove to his place to check it out to see what I would be doing and talked to the guy in charge. He asked me a few question about my experience and I filled out a background criminal form and stuff, and right after I left, I didn't get no more than 2 miles from his place and he calls me and offered me the job. So I took it. Well after that I had to drive to the other side of town in New Richmond Wisconsin to apply at a temp agency. I had an appointment to be there at 2pm, but I showed up there early at around 1:30pm. Anyway so I went there, filled out all the paper work and forms and all. Took about an hour to do, then right when I left the temp agency, they called me and offered me a job as well and I took it. So in one day, I went out to two places, applied for jobs and got offered the jobs right away in that day. What are the odds of this happening? I mean seriously...I know this is probably just a stupid thing to post up on here and tell everyone about, but it was kind of nice. Only thing that made my day not so good is...well a girl that I miss very much and dearly. But anyway, just wanted to share this with you all. If anyone wants to say anything, feel free and please be descrete and nice.

Yea I'm still trying. I found some places/factories to apply at and maybe...hopefully I can get a phone call from one of them for a job offer. I am hurting really badly people inside(emotionally) and financially. That is why I posted my truck up for sale because I need money and also I just don't want it anymore. I lowered the price everyone, please go check it out and feel free to make an offer, I really have to get rid of this truck.

Yea for sure. At least you got a Silverado SS. I don't have one at all. I am not even close to having/owning or getting one right now because finances are not good right now. But hopefully someday I pray that I will get the opportunity to buy the Silverado SS Intimidator Edition.

Okay so this is what I got for a truck. I have a 1988 Chevrolet Silverado K1500 4x4 that I bought 4 years ago and been trying to fix and restore this truck ever since I bought it because it was in rough shape. It still is kind of in rough shape, but the engine and drive train all are great. I replaced the transmission with a new one, and the transmission has a 3 year warrenty on it, got it this year, so it's good for a long time. I still have the papers for the warrenty. Anyway I have bought a lot of aftermarket upgrades to customize this truck and give it a good look and I have...sort of I think. I don't it all depends on what you all think, that is if anyone would be interested in this truck. I can make a list of the parts, but it would be a long list. I will have to add that later, but here are some pictures of it from last year. It still looks the same, only I replaced the passenger side door. The passenger side door is black instead of maroon red. Well here are some pics, let me know if you have any interest in this truck. you can feel free to come out and test drive it. I have it parked at the end of my godfathers yard and I'd like to get rid of it before winter. Everything you see in the pictures goes with the truck, except the firesticks cb antennas. I'm keeping those and all the mounting hardware for them, but everything else goes with it. I will get new pictures later, I got more stuff to sell with it. The truck has two sets of wheels and tires, the second set is sitting the the box and they look similar and identical to the wheels that are mounted on the truck now, as you see in the pictures. I can garantee that pretty much everything works on this truck. The 4 wheel drive works, the transmission shifts smoothly, 4 wheel drive works, the engine runs good and the truck has no problem getting around. It still needs some minor work and a few parts, but I'm done with this truck. I don't want it anymore, so if anyone would be interested in a 4x4 Chevy Silverado K1500 truck, please let me know. I am starting it out at $2,500 or make offer, I am not sure how much this truck is worth, but I will tell you this, I have put about $6,000 into this truck, so I know I am taking a big loss and I am losing money by selling it, but I have to, so I hope that this helps you all see this truck better. Anyway here is a list of aftermarket upgrades and parts I replaced, that I put on this truck and that this truck has: Edelbrock Shocks front and rear, new style side mirrors right&left, wheels/rims, lug nuts, Aries step bars, polyethlene gas tank with new tank straps, aftermarket plugs and high output plug wires, new transmission&torque converter, new transmission detent/kickdown cable, new knock sensor&connector wire, new oxygen sensor, new starter&alternator, new serpentine belt, new brakes front and rear, new brake lines, new fuel lines, new fuel pump, new fuel sending unit assembly, new fuel filter, new PCV valve, AC pump pulley delete kit/bracket assembly, new/rebuilt steering column, new flashers fuse, new front brake calipers and rotors, new rear wheel brake cylinders, replaced all light bulbs with new ones, custom made fuel filler hose, new upper&lower radiator hoses, replaced heater core. That is all I can think of for now. Well take a look and let me know. As you can see, after looking at this list of parts I replaced, this truck should run and drive like new and it does, well depends on how you look at it and what you think of it. Parts that this truck still needs is: a new front windshield, new wipers, new window washer fluid motor, horn needs to be fixed and connected, flywheel cover/guard, a couple covers for the interior for under the dashboard, parking brake cable assembly-the whole thing, new front CV Axles. I will be making a trip to the junk yard one of these times to get a few parts that will be easy to get and replace and I'll put them on, but right now I don't have any money, so I am just going to try to sell it for now. If anyone wants to come take a look at this truck, take it for a test drive and then make an offer on it, please let me know, feel free to contact me Well this is all the good pictures I have of this truck for now, but I will try to go get new ones later. If you're at all interested, please let me know. I really just want to get rid of this truck. I am sick of looking at it and sick of working on it. I just want to get rid of it and not have to worry about it anymore, so if anyone wants to come check it out, please let me know

Yea, I'll get one eventually, but first I need to get a good paying job. I am aiming to get the 2006 Chevy Silverado SS Intimidator Edition, so I'm going to try to save up for that one and hope that someday I will find one that I get buy.

Right now I am trying to find anything that pays good. I just want to find work that will allow me to be able to afford to go out and get things like getting a loan to buy a new vehicle, such as a Intimidator SS Silverado truck. I want something right now. It will be better than nothing and I'm willing to travel, but depends on the living expense and how my finances will be. I don't know, but whatever works, let me know

I don't have a Silverado SS yet. I want to get one, as I stated in my last reply to this thread I posted. Anyway, I will get one someday, right now money is an issue and jobs are scarce, so I have to wait till something good comes along for me.

Yea I really hope so. The Silverado SS is my favorite truck. I want to get one so bad, but without a good job and money, I can't buy one. Anyway, the Silverado SS that I want to buy someday is the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado SS Intimidator Edition. That is my favorite truck. I love that truck.
