Hey, I'm a die hard Cowboys fan and I'm just as upset as the next guy right now. Heck, I barely watched any football yesterday b/c it just didn't "feel" right. I like T. Romo, I feel sorry for the little guy. He has himself a BIG hole to climb out of now & up until training camp starts back up. As I watched the Dallas game I found myself getting madder and madder b/c our offense couldn't do ANYTHING!!! It was our defense and special teams that kept us in the game for that long, heck Seattle didn't play that well either. The 2005-06 SS steel bumper is PN# 88944059 and the steel bumper for a regular Chevy truck is PN# 12473000. So yes there is def. a difference....

How many miles on your truck? Does it need a tune-up? Did the 2003 trucks have a fuel filter, or was this the 1st year it was removed? I recommend Sea Foam treatment every 20-30K as well.....

I've had one on my 2004 GMC VHO for 2yrs now with no problems. GM PN# 10326376 & AC DELCO PN# GT264. GM catalogings says it fits 5.3L, BOTH 6.0L'S, 4.8L, 8.1L, and does not include a new tether. (N05) production option code....

I'd go with the 2006 SS, call me weird, but I'm one of those people who don"t believe in get the first model year (body redesign) of ANY auto manufacture. I think the SS is a STRONG & higher resaleing truck you'd love, and you could get a good sales deal on the '06 old body style (but new unit) GM truck since the new body style is now out and catching everybodys attention. Let the rattles, wind noise, water leaks, and querks get worked out of the newly redesigned GM trucks the first year or so, then you'll enjoy an 2008-9 better with out any of these probelms when the time comes for another new truck purchase.... How about that guys/gals?

Try to find one first is my 1st advice to you. I live in N. central TX, and I've searched high & low down here with no luck in ANY color or chassis configuration....? Might be different where your at though....?

Check out GM PN# 15197889 it retails for $56.98, and it fits the "B4U" option trucks only!!! It might look better than our stock VHO brackets??? It states "paint to match" as well..... I think when cops/troopers pulled around or out and follow you for a few miles there are: A). admiring a nice ride or occupant or B). Running your plates to check for warrants, etc. Good luck in all this fellow VHO'er...

Yes, clean the air flow sensor with an elec. parts cleaner, and add a can of "Seafoam" treatment to a half a tank of gas. Then get back to us so we can figure this out.....

No that's what I'm trying to say. They put that door badge on 5.3L trucks with just the H/D towing platform too (4.10 gears, etc)!!!

Not ALL "Vortec Maxx" trucks have the 6.0L PERFORMANCE PACKAGE. The sure fire way to know if it is fast is the 20" wheels. If it has 20" wheels then I'm pretty sure it is 6.0L powered, that is unless the owner added the 20's after the point of sell..... ;)
