  1. So i read that thread and i have a pretty good idea now how to set it up. Thanks. What's a good type of catch can that work's well on our trucks?
  2. Could anybody tell me how to vent my crankcase without useing the sts electronic pcv i dont trust it and i would like to just use some mechanical setup with check valve's and a catch can possibly?? Ive been looking around on other threads but couldnt really find anything for my truck. Any diagrams or whatever would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
  3. Hey guys, i kinda have a silly question.. Im running 5w30 castrol syntec as we speak but im getting ready to put my turbo on possibly this weekend if my tune arrives. But question is.. is that oil safe to run on an sts turbo system? I didnt really know considering there's a return pump an not knowing whats safe to run through it. Any recommendations would be great. thx
  4. If anyone has a sts turbo kit for sale let me know. Thanks..
  5. Finally someone's honest lol. what kind of shocks do you recommend?
  6. I haven't had time yet to mess with the front end but i was wondering if anyone has ever put softer leaf spring's in the rear so the truck's weight empty in the back would compress the shocks a little kinda like loading the bed to get a smooth ride and of course for anyone that doesn't use the bed for loading and hauling. Or would it make the truck bounce alot..
  7. Alright thanks man. Ill try that this afternoon and see how it turn's out.
  8. I baby the truck anyways so that won't be a problem.. Did u notice a big improvement without them? I have enough clearance in the back i think without having to put a c-notch in the frame.. it's a street truck only and i never load the bed but yeah i have added weight and it rides nice but kills the gas. i might cut the bump stops in the back a little and put bell tech street performance shocks on or bilstein's.
  9. will it be ok without front bump stops??
  10. I did a 3 inch drop in the back and i have about and inch or more between the bump stop and axel. what i don't get tho is that i had plenty of travel before i did the drop and it still rides the same. i don't expect a truck to ride like a caddy but it shouldn't beat the hell out of ya. what i did leave out is my front is riding on the bump stops there's no clearance maybe that's normal..
  11. My truck beats me to death and i need some advice on what i should do.. I'm trying to squeeze as much comfort as i can out of the truck now i did a ground force drop kit, it replaced the rear shackles, hangers, front springs and all four shocks and it still rides like it did when it had bad shocks my girlfriend doesn't even want to ride in it half the time because when u go over a bump it feels like u ran over a 2x4 and it just feels really rough idk if ground force shocks are crap or if its from doing a spare tire delete, having a roll pan and having the bed empty making it lighter in the back but any recommendations of shocks or whatever would be great.
  12. Thank you. I'll run it at 30psi and check them.. My front tires were starting to wear on the insides but i don't know if that's just from the tire pressure or alignment..
  13. Does anybody know what the best tire pressure would be for a smooth ride on 265/50/20 Toyo Proxes S/T?
  14. Im about to order a detroit trutrac 8.6 10bolt 30 spline im guessing thats right? i counted the bolts on the rear end but looking at gears i only see 8.5 4.10's? i dont see any 4.10's that say 8.6 and im guessing if i get those two thats all i need for my mechanic to put them in?? just the locker and gears?? And what brand gears are the best?
