I think my tranny is finally going out. Its revs real high and wont shift to second until I let off the throttle it happen about 3 times I my way home tonight. Im prolly gonna take it to a shop monday. I had it beefed up about 4yrs ago hopefully its a easy fix.

It happens I got my doors blown off by a srt4 the other day on the highway lol goin about 70. I saw him comin up fast so I punched it and by the time I was goin 90 he flew by like I was in park.

Coming home from work this morning when a all black challanger comes past me then gets over right in front of me I figure ok he wants to play.So I get over and right when I got on his back bumper I punched it and I heard he did too but man did I just walk him hard by the time I left off I was 2 lengths on him. I started to slow down to see if he wanted to try again I was gonna let him get the hit but the more I slowed down so did he then he takes a quick right lol. Guess he was done playin . Its my first kill in along time. Nobody wants to have any fun in utah.

I started to hear a rubbing noise now along with the hum and I just figured the diff really must be goin out the door quick. For shits and giggles I took it to discount tires for a rotate and omg its a miracle all the noise is gone now . I have no clue what tires pro guys did wrong when rotating my tires and the discount tires guys didnt say anything was outta whack. So im just really stumped, at least the noise is gone and the diff fluid is fresh

Ya ive been doing alot of research on it and I guess its a more of a problem with the sss then I thought. Guys were getting this noise only after like 10k so I guess I will just have to live with it. Its deff not as loud. I used synthetic sad

Well I changed the fluid and I can still hear the hum from 40-50 mph only when I press the gas. Any other suggestions?

I really dont have time to change it myself. You think a chevy dealership will know how to do it probably. Im always worried when other people are working on my truck. I just turn wrenches all day on aircraft so when I get home I just want to be lazy lol

Hey guys I just recently had my tires rotated/balanced. They told me all four were off by acouple ounces. Then the next day as I was driving I started to hear a slight humming noise coming from my front but only when I push on the gas and not at really low/high speeds around 30-50 mph. I figured it was something wrong with the balance, I took it back to the place and they said everything with the balance was great and then they told me it could be one of the tires but they are brand new 420's and I didnt hear thus noise before I took it in. Any ideas on what it could be? Front diff? Its not the tranny for sure so thats good.
