  1. Ok I have a buddy that has hp tuner. Would that work?
  2. That looks like it except mine are orange lol
  3. I truely don't know. It was in the car when I got it. It's a kit that matches the stock gauges very well. Color of every part of the gauge looks like stock and even has gto on the gauge like stock but other than that I really can't give u any more info
  4. First of all I traded my 2006 silverado ss for an 06 gto. I joined ls1gto.com forum and had this posted for 12 days and didn't even get one reply. So I posted that their forum is not nearly as good as this one. Lol sure they won't be happy but o well. The oil pressure gauge is an aftermarket kit for the gto since it doesn't come with an oil gauge. It read perfectly for almost a week and then started moving back and forth from 20psi to 40psi quite regularly. Took it back to the dealer and checked pressure with mechanical gauge and pressure is fine. They changed out the sending unit and it's still doing it. I am thinking it's a conection problem or the gauge is crapping out. What do yall think? Thanks to all that reply
  5. Front and rear suspension is stock to the intimidator ss I'd just like to put a good set of ladder bars on.
  6. i looked at that site and since my truck is an Intimidator (2 inches lower) would the low profile be best?
  7. I have an 06 SSS and I'm trying to find a good set of Ladder Bars/Traction Bars but so far I haven't found much of anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
  8. I live in Fulton, MO. About 20 min north of Jefferson City.
  9. I just had my first time at the track this week and was a blast. Here's my time: R/T - .606 60' - 2.247 330 - 6.241 1/8 - 9.567 MPH - 74.41 1000 - 12.404 1/4 - 14.829 MPH - 92.26 2006 Intimidator SS 2WD Tuned by HP Tuner 3" H pipe with Flowmaster Outlaw Mufflers I beat up on a Miata pretty bad. His Time Was 1/4 - 16.794 MPH - 73.50
  10. ok this ma be dumb but i just put on a holley 600 vacuum secondaries and eletric choke carb on my truck and a guy swears i put it on backwards. but it sounds like hes a dumb @$$ but it has me a little curious. i put it on with the butterfly in front, throttle linkages on driver, and choke on passenger but he SWEARS that ALL holleys are suppose to have the butterfly in back which makes all my other hook ups a pain to install. Like i said sounds like a dumb question but i dont know much about after market carbs
  11. also do you have to buy different carbs for an automatic trans versus a manual trans?
  12. this vehicle is going to be a daily driver so i want some get up but not really looking for a carb for the track. so i dont want to mess with it much and still have good performance
  13. ok i need some input about each carb but i have decided down to these 2....... A holley 4160 or an Edelbrock 600 performer. im just looking for pros and cons of each.
  14. first off, i dont know much about carbs. ive been looking at the edlebrock 600 performer. our friend says u can burn up a 700r4 trans if you dont get something right on the carb but i cant get ahold of him and i dont know what hes talking about. could it b vaccumes or the kickdown? this is the only thing holding me up from buying a carb and getting this truck running
  15. i have a 350 with 700r4 trans and am looking for a good performance carburator that i wont have to tinker with all the time to keep running right. the engine is stock with a manual fuel pump and the only adder is an edlebrock performer intake. i need to know what cfm carb to go with and a brand that is proven to not need to be adjusted all the time to keep it running. i have aslo been told that with aftermarket carbs you have to mess with the linkages and they are a pain. ive been told that if you dont get them right you can burn up the trans. im not real good with this sort of thing so i need all the help i can get thanks
