    SS top speed?

Hey Ben, got a link to where you bought the decal??
  5. Roger Roger, yeah thanks here too man!
  6. I have no idea Lee, but mcwarren can probably assist in this matter.
  7. The SS is the only Silverado available with the LQ9 version of the Vortec 6000 V8 and the only one available in 1500 extended-cab short bed. I think with that there should be an easy way to differentiate between the vin #'s, right?

    SS top speed?

Yep mine is the same way 108-109 mph. I have been there a couple times now and just held it for a couple miles. I tell you what the exhaust sure does sound at 108mph. I am wondering though if holding at the limit for an extended period of time may be bad on the motor??
  9. I would like to know as well what each SS would be out of the 10,028 made for 03’ One thing in know for sure is that having a regular vin# saved me a ton of money with my insurance company. The VIN came up as a Silverado 1500ck, having the SS associated with that sets off the $$ alarms with the insurance companies that I can live without.
