  1. Hey guys i got my block done and heads done for my mud truck build.its ready for 383 rotating assembly.my heads are dart iron eagles with 2.05/1.96 valves and i dont know what piston to run or cam. Im looking for good compression....10.5-11:1 maybe a touch more.but what i dont know is if i can run much of a dome piston with those valves. Any advice!?!?!?
  2. whose in charge of the stickers. i believe i'd like to put a silveradoss.com sticker on the ex cab door window on each side. somethin to break it up a tad! possibly a shirt as well if someone could gimme prices and orderin info
  3. i know ill get bashed by everyone on here, but i own mud trucks and tow my 6200lb k5 blazer on a 1300lb trailer about 2 weekends out of the month. and run it at the drag strip here and there. here is the worst part.. my truck as we speak has 221,783 miles on the dash on the FACTORY ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION. it has been regularly maintained, ive got the records, only things been done is a water pump and fuel pump and filter.. i bought it with 192k but came with the service records. i wouldnt hesitate to pull that camper
  4. thank you. thatd be appreciated. just didnt know when i pulled the trans if the case should be beefed up too or not. but i like the sound of this , build keeps gettin cheaper and cheaper. was thinkin forged bottom end but guys say that stock cranks and all that good stuff is proven to hold high high hp
  5. Oh wow ok so im good lol. Maybe one day but if its that much ill be good by a long shot. Cool thanks.
  6. Hey guys its time to do some hp addition on the truck. Curious how much power the stock tcase can take. I plan on buildin the trans( not sure whats best) and cammin it with a little head work. Curious as to what cams sound good and perform good. I want a nice little lick. This will be installed with my whipple 2.3.input and advice wanted!!
  7. Need good ideas. Not lookin to spend a fortune...which i know power and money go hand in hand. But id like to know whats the best bang for the buck. I want her to chop. Good names of what to run would be helpful and trans build ideas. Best bands/servos that good stuff
  8. Ive got a whipple twin screw sittin in my floor taunting me. Thought about. 30 over, cam, forged rods and pistons and 8 to 10psi
  9. Hey guys id appreciate some input here.. time to build my 03sss....how far can a stock crank be pushed as well as tcase
  10. wow, great deal im sure it'll go fast. beautiful truck, i have an 03 myself. good luck
  11. if you do end up going with new injectors, i'm in the market for some, i've got a whipple charger ready to go on the truck. i'm lacking injectors.!
  12. truck keeps throwin TPS code, if i'm not mistaken the sensor is non replaceable so i'm guessin i need a new throttle body. so if anyone has one layin around and wanna let it go for cheap please let me know. also i need injectors to have my whipple blower set up complete. looks like 39-42 lb injectors is the way to go. please let me know if yall have anything!
  13. thanks alot! i would appreciate any further info you have for me as far as installation is concerned. what i may and may not need
