I was on this site www.saeparts.com and it links you to ebay where they say they no longer have any. But if you call the # from the web site they take you order over the phone. Just ordered a set on tuesday. Singleton

this truck was cleaned of all its vin #s and replaced with others except the frame. I was told by the insurance bureau that the # on the frame was removed. is there only the one on the frame or was he filling me full of crap.

I purchaced this truck from a police auction and after I got it home and went through the process of making it legit for the road I was told that the Identification on the truck was not legit. Not a big problem because they will issue me a new vin. But not until I can prove that the frame has a vin of its own. I have paid all kinds of people to search for this vin on a 2005 silverado crew cab frame, but with no luck. With my last post I was able to Identify my truck as being a 2005 Denali. My question to all the listeners is where the heck are the vin #s on my crew cab frame. Any info would help.

Thanks again everyone for all the info. I paid a salvage price of $8000. and I am still waiting to make it road worthy. Because it was a stolen truck and the vin #s are not correct they are giving me a hard time for a registration. I've even had a guy with the insurance burreau inspect the frame for the vin and he had no luck finding it.

not willing to give up the price yet. As a veterain what would you have paid for it.

Yes there is a front diff and it hooks up realy nice when taking off. I would send some pics but I'm having trouble loading them

do you know of any of chevrolets trucks that have all those options like AWD and 6.0 l

I recently purchace at a police auction what I thought was a 2005 black Silverado SS crew cab. But I can't find any like it. It has all the bells and whistles like AWD, 6.0 engine, Bose sound system, leather interior, rear panasonic flip down dvd player and other great options. The vin # is no help because it does not belong to the truck. And there is no other hidden vins because I guess they have been professionaly removed.
