  1. Welcome back, I saw some pictures here the other day of the old VR you had, such mint paint! I have to say 18k is also above what I would pay but with everything you like on it cannot go wrong and driving it home. Their was a black 03 f/s just under 20k miles. Edit-Also found a VR 04 w/22k miles down the street from me. "Truck is too damn slow" he says (it is f/s). But he has enough vettes...
  2. I will also add bmws are good from the starts, nothing special but not bad N/A wise (my truck will keep up). Personally the N/A are my choice, those Euros have some great giddy up at high speeds even with the awd. The old 97-98 M3's are impressive when it comes to tuning before they tweaked the engines/computers and they became a PITA to tune, and the power to weight ratio is amazing.
  3. Use to go to Fairfield as my friend has family their, also take Amtrak to near spots. Very nice part of CT. Did you paint the SS logos on the headreast or professionally done? I was looking for a 2wd 07 or DEI 06....Pm me and maybe we can figure out something
  4. ^^You guys are killing me, TBSS intake for $120?! I would pay more gladly if I could get one this summer (need to find one). I only belong to this site but wow I guess I need to join others to start on the lookout. I may also be putting some nice summer tires on my 18s with the other bolt-on mods. I thought the TBSS intake would run a lot more (around a thousand). Have not been around much but back and want to play
  5. Good to see you back. Glad to see an original member back like yourself I heard a bout the BenKey cam special (just in sigs, not anymore info), any possible future orders? With the new members you may have some interest. Hope the truck is treating you well.

    E-fan tune

^Your have an 04 that does not have e fans and is stock...have you tuned these trucks before? Not busting balls.
  7. Hopefully you have caught the interest of the other SSS truck, congrats on the win and being very polite on the whole situation
  8. Great thread, caught my attention. I never thought of keeping it in the bed which away from the elements which I really like. I will try to use a K5La horn from retiring single level commuter cab coaches (if I can I get to them).
  9. I have a one, I would consider it mid-low milage. PM if interested. Was planning on keeping it with LT's etc but may part with it.
  10. Congrats on the purchase man! I was seriouslt about to contact him this week if it was still f/s as I am back in the market for a 2nd SSS, DE ISS or 07. Start showing the pics I would love to have this truck I love the setup of heads and exhaust. Congrats again Cody.
  11. ^Same situation, was pulled out of PT twice for shoulder/wrist. Having the combo of nerve and structural damage is devastating and damn frustrating. I forgot about some of the other things going on like your back, my bad. I am glad to here they are working things out. I think the anthrogram will be very helpful in what to do.
  12. Thank you all, I have my priorities set now. CAI w/tune soon, start collecting parts for the e-fans/harness and save up for the LTs/hi-flows from ARH.
  13. Headers (ARH) and mild cam sounds nice. Maybe look into a fast intake and bigger t/b to help it breathe. I would also plan on something to beef the tranny.
  14. Glad to see you back, also. I am up and running now also, would love to see this beast in person.
  15. Damn you FL gents are showing off nicely here. Lakewood Ranch is still a possibility. Alex I am jealous of your trucks detail w/the black paint. Gorgeous man
  16. ouch.....reminds me of a lifted Yukon jumped with 33's, ripped the axle to shreds. Still worked well after fixing the frame and front end.
  17. I will say 2.5 unless going big power like stated. Just remember 2 mufflers and piping is twice the weight, about.
  18. Mando please let me know how your new suspension is, no hurry. Everyone has their opinion to what is their favorite. Just curious on the new ride vs stock.
  19. It is that time of the year, Kleptos are on the prowl.
  20. Can you beat prices on Bilstein's? Thank you in advance Tony. -Andrew
  21. Very sharp, got some Chevelle SS owners in town wanting me to touch up their vehicles after seeing my truck today. I will be grabbing that surf city asap, thank you for the advice/help! Like I mentioned before yours and Blick's looks amazing in the sig. I am worried about the sun here in MA, will have to follow the sunshine state tips
  22. I am also in the same boat Mando and hope to add some sways w/the new shocks. I am curious as to what you chose for suspension? I have had Bilstein's on awd sedans before and was very happy. I was going with them soon on my truck as my stock ones are done. Time did them in, not miles. Also I have found part number's for the 2wd Bilstein's 46mm 2wd but not the awd. Im guessing their the same. Im going to check some members garage to see about pn's.
  23. ^Im hoping he has either and not the Db series...
  24. I have some 18s American Racing I may be willing to part with...small rims but big enough to fit your brakes I believe. I am not very knowledgable in this fitment, let me know guys.
