Welcome from another noob, and congrat's on finding your truck. It was a lucky day when I was offered the one I bought. Should be easy to get ideas to up the HP around here; I've studied the site long enough to come up with a head full of ideas. Now to save up the dough.

Favorite TV channel is RFD. Used to be I'd rather sail sailboards than eat or sleep, now I'd just as soon play guitar as pretty much anything else. My dream job has always been to be a taste tester for feminine hygiene products.

Hey Fuel67, I hear ya on the "Too many toy's, not enough time. My truck goes into the shop Friday, for front diff. bearings, then I am off to Kinston Saturday evening. We should see if we can't schedule a meet, though. I've got a list going too. Too bad the dentist is getting so much of my paycheck at this point. Between the dentist and the needed brg's. my mods are on hold for awhile. Thanks for the welcome. Got any pics of your 67SS? John

Well; I thought that I had it figured out. I had three photos show up in my reply box and in the "review" stage, but the pics and a few lines of text didn't make it to the posting stage. I am using a couple year old iMac and the latest version of Firefox. Is either of those the trouble? New guys sure are a pain in the butt, EH? John

I wrote out this response, earlier, and managed to add a photo, that showed up in the response box, but it inserted itself in the middle of my text. I will add my photos to this one and post it regardless of where they show up and sort it all out later.

John here. I am down in the salt marsh on the vcoast of North Carolina. Been hanging out here for a good while and soaking up info. Ive been a long time getting around to joining in the discussion because there is so much info already available, here, and I have been soaking it up. Last September a good bud who has a big towing business offered me a deal I couldn't turn down to trade my old 93 Siverado, (225,000 mi.), for an 03 SSS with 47,000 mi. Shortly after getting the truck my dentist started making demands on my finances and so I haven't been able to start modding. Thanks to y'all; I've already got a long list of "want to do" mods. Now lets see if I can figure out the picture up-load trick. Guess not. I'll figure it out later. (Gotta photobucket account. Any tips gladly accepted) John

Revenue generation. California is broke; Right? It's true that there are groups, out there, truly concerned with making the world "Damn fool proof", and the belts will save more lives than they take, but money is a prime mover here, I think. Here, (Eastern N.C.) the seat belt gratuity has gone from $25, (My first one), 15 years ago, to $100 for my third one just over 1 year back. I think that they've broke me, now, I hook the D@mn thing up before I twist the key, now.
