Hey Alan, Did you turn the pulley's, (A wrench on the crank pulley), as you fed the belt on, or just man handle it over them?
-
The stretch belt sounds like a great idea. First time I've heard of this fix. Looks like you need a tool to install? (Tool is $23.00. Not too bad). Gates, on their site, says feel free to contact them for help figuring out which belt you need. (Their current application chart doesn't say just which belt you need for the A/C. They also say that they are working on getting a better app page going).

Thanks for a great transaction Richard. Fantastic packing job you did. Anyone reading this can be confident that Richard is a stand up guy and you can go into a deal with him with no worries.

Sounds good Rudy.

I'm interested Richard. Sent you a PM.

Seems I remember them going for $100 to $150 but my memory is a bit suspect. I think I paid Zippy $150 for a spare when I got the first tune done.

Yup; Any improvement is good, huh? Keeps us interested in modding.

In to see what diff your headers make. Good luck.

What kind of difference did you think the coilovers made?

Welcome to the site man. -
Great story. Congrats.

Good to see you checking in Dan. Joining late wouldn't be such a disadvantage if the "how to threads" hadn't lost all those pictures when photobucket changed their policy. The original owners of these trucks really put a lot of time and money into figuring out what worked, in the way of mods on these trucks, and the how to threads made a lot more sense when the pictures could be viewed. Thanks a lot PB. The original owners also had a unique and strong bond as they worked more or less as a group to figure these trucks out. Very few of those guys check in here any more. As Dan said, "These are old trucks and old technology".

Welcome to the site.

I bought a beater Silverado to do "truck stuff" with. Downside is that now I have two trucks to dump money in.

Power Steering hose part numbers pls
Downeast Johnny replied to NipRing's topic in Suspension & Brakes
I went to Car-ID for a rack/pinion and a power steering pressure hose for my 2000 Silverado. Check and see if this looks right for your truck. It's late and I'm not going out to look at mine tonight. https://www.carid.com/2003-chevy-silverado-steering-parts/acdelco-professional-power-steering-pressure-line-hose-assembly-533572979.html -

Congrats on your new truck, I guess. Hope your luck with it gets better in the future. -
The Camaro looks even colder than the SS. Congrats on getting back closer to home. That's a good thing.

You got it.
