Just got it in. I'm impressed with it. I have a buddy that does upholstery so I'll have him do it. I'm going to be taking the truck off the road soon for some much needed love. New paint, and now I believe I will do both front seats, carpet and headliner. Its time for the Maggie to go in for service also, it has 140k on it.... put it on when the truck had 80. Anyone have a meth injection for sale?

Hmm, high mileage at 100k. Nah. 206k on my SS and 265k on my work truck, both 04's.

What is the quietest muffler out there? I want to hear the magna whine and not let every cop within a mile know I nailed it.

You don't by chance have an i simple connect in it for listening to Pandora or Spotify do you? If so the unit is bad, just disconnect it. I found out after I threw money at my factory unit.

Yep, mine bone stock ran 15.4's here when it had 900 miles on it. Corrected altitude was 5600'

I bought my 04 in Oct 2003, was born in August 03. It has a passenger bag. Status on the mirror and of course next to the switch just under the SS emblem in the dash.

I put the 112 on when the truck had 80k on it and never an issue, well now 100k later its getting whiny. It was off at 140k when due to a bad tune we ate 2 pistons at the track. At that time oil was changed of course in it but nothing else done to it. Has anyone else had this happen? It gets better after warming up but I don't want to let it go. Bearings? I doubt it but hopeful. Maggie of course wants me to send it to them but its 4-6 week turn around, being my DD this is not an option. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

Where are you located?

They should be fine. I had 305's on mine for a while, tight turn and a bump they rub the plastic inner fender. That being said I will never put 305's on again. They grab the road ruts too much and makes you look like a drunk driver.

Guess I got lucky, put the Maggie on at about 80k, lost 2nd at 160k. I don't drive slow and my daughter raced it at the track a lot. I like the new one much more
