Got the transmission all installed everything back togeather get in hit the key and the starter won't engage, tested everything, replaced neutral safety switch on the trans and still nothing no power to the starter sol wire. Anyone ever have this problem?!?

Limped it back in 2nd. RIP original 4L65E-
Ya it sucks but I knew it was going for a long time. Lasted over 150,000 on the original factory transmission. I would say thats a pretty good life out of it and I still made it home! Plan is to pull out the orginal and keep it to build up later and replace it with a used one for the moment.

Got my new cluster in, thanks GM... Bad fuel gage, tranny guage, speedo, and tach.... yeah, guess mine was tired lol. Gm covered $546.00 out of $650.00.. couldnt be happier.

Haha ya its pretty good with stud's especially on ice! I wish I had another set of chrome 20's for summer I've been eyeing some factory reproductions ones for a long time but I'm in the same boat $$ wise, I'm spending way too much on my 57 chevy project!

Yeah it happens every now and then. I've got a similar setup but the stock chrome 20's with studded hankoook's. Works pretty good! I run the grey 20's in the summer.

So there are two clones of my SSS that go to UAA as well as mine for a total of 3 Arrival Blue SSS at the same campus. Kinda funny, not all in the same place same time but still.

Haha I took them out because one had a slight flicker that was driving me crazy! Haha, I might put them back in though in a couple weeks since they looked so good!

no not clones I just meant that there exactly the same as my truck!
Like one has a tonneau cover, chrome wheels and hids like identical to mine other than he had tinted windows up front and I don't and I took out my hids. The other just had silver wheels, led lights and hids.

Haha ya you sure don't! Kinda funny I parted next to the one last semester, I bet the owner walked out and was like haha its a clone of my truck. Two arrival blue ss's with chrome wheels side by side.

Heated seats just stopped working,turn on then turn right back off on both sides. From what I gather it sounds like a bad module under the drivers seat that controls both?

Yeah it sucks and of course it breaks in winter in Alaska... Anyways though Lefty I don't think its a fuse because they turn on then click and turn right back off. Thinking it could be a shorted element in the drivers seat or the module that controls both.
