  1. good to know.. when i said really cold i ment below freezing. up here it goes from summer to winter really quick
  2. my camera is on the fritz, but yea i think they look a bit too meaty for the performance 'look' of the ss. if i had a regular silverado 4x4 they would be perfect. I am thinking about buying something else and putting these rims and tires on my suburban.
  3. They actually ride a bit better then I thought they would - and they are fairly quiet too.
  4. ok cool - ill suggest that to my mechanic (or look for one on ebay)
  5. its the digital one. You don't have to have the air on to run defrost when it gets really cold.
  6. I have read and searched out most of the a/c problem posts on here and can't seem to find an answer. My A/C just won't shut off. When I first get in the truck everything works - fan speed, air direction (blend defrost/vents) and the air comes out cold. But then it gets so cold that it ices up under the dash (and under the hood) - then the blend door won't move and the air flow becomes way less. Is there an easy fix to this? Or, is there a fuse that I could pull to shut if off (it is fall here and winter is coming so I don't need a/c at all)? My mechanic just pulled the wire that comes out of that condenser sensor (about in the middle on the front side) but that didn't change anything. Any ideas?
  7. I have the zeon ltz in 305/50/20 on my stock rims - they look a bit beefy but I live in northern minnesota so they will come in handy this winter. Fuel mileage did drop about 1 mpg though.
