sold my old work truck, 04 2500hd and traded in the 05 ss to get a black 2012 2500hd 6.0 auto black on black with the factory 20 inch rims, will try to get some pics kinda rainning here.

still for sale for now, almost traded in but decided not to, want it to get a good home and not someone who does not appreciate it

it took me 3 years to get what i wanted now that i have it i really dont want to sell but the story always goes family first, when i got it, it came with a bedliner and a soft tonneau cover, only thing i did was the cold air intake set-up, i did buy and pick up a new gm fog light set-up complete kit to install fog lights but never put it in its just sitting in the box, also have bed rail caps with the bigger rear spoiler cant remember where i got it, its used took it off my old blue ss, never got it painted silver birch, wanted to due so much to truck but its just so nice the way it is,

i almost killed my first ss... 4500 pounds in bed and 9,000 pounds on the 1500 pound solid deck flat car trailer, ended up having to replace driveshaft hit the frame when i was driving

let me start of saying i really dont want to sell her but family first and i need to get back in my house, been 5 months lookslike another 2 before back in, motel is not fun with 4 kids all under the age of 9 and the youngest is 2 garage kept,, before storm hit it was move inland to an inside storage unit, mod's done to truck it a volt cold air kit with the ram air kit, still have stock air box and all piping, tinted front windows and windshield, and its got a soft tonneau cover, factory crome rims need to take it out for a bath then will put some pic's up asking 23k or best offer

well yesterday we were able to find a place to live for the next 2 weeks the after that i dont know where we ae going, was able to have the impala ss recoveded and its done, going to take some stuff off and scrap it, also how many people can say a house hit and floated over there car,,,, i can, just wanted it back to salvage anything that was good and scrap it, also tree fell on th estorage unit and many more at the place so i am unable to get to the truck just know there is a oak on the roof and hitting the door to get in

any help works still have to try and save some stuff from inside the house and garage as well as the mobil attic that also went under, still need to tear out the downstairs bathroom, and front bedroom and 1 closet and last 2 walls in the garage, i have 1 car being picked up its the 56 ford, the guy offered to come get it,, rebuild the engine trans and clean out and wipe down the rear and redo the complete brake system, figured $2000 for all but that not much concidering the car and how much it means to me and my dad, best part is i have time to pay them for the work, and nothing up front, dont really care about the suburban it was good to me for the last 3 weeks and did everthing i needed it too,, and got help from my friend who works at lester glen here in toms river, was albe to locate and have shipped in a replacement yukon xl for the wife and i dont have to pay for anything untill the other truck is payed off by insurance company thansk to the owner of lester glen, what a nice guy.cant wait to meet him today,

will update after FEMA comes today and tomorrow the flood insurance company is comming,

i was able to get out with my 3 sons and all with backpacks full of cloathing the night the storm surge came, everything in house and all cars are a total loss, that is all except 1 the silverado ss was put in an inside storage locker 5 miles inland and thats the only vehicle that made it . whats a total loss with no flood insurance, 96 custom impala ss, 72 monte carlo full ground up resto, 63 inpala ss in process of being redone, my dads highschool car in my garage 56 ford victoria, 92 camaro only 2 had flood, 08 yukon denali xl. was wifes ride and my 96 k2500 suburban both had 4 feet of water in them, as far as the house goes we shall see when fema shows up but whatever is still good i need to get out since i can live in the house so any help would be appreciated to move everything to a storage locker, address 576 george road toms river new jersey cell 1-732-330-5508

well i am all boarded up, sand baged and almost ready, i rented a 10x30 storague unit firther inland just for the silverado ss as well as the new push mower i bought and my kids bicycles, also moved my 24 foot inclosed trailer full of mostly 3rd gen camaro and firebird parts and my solid deck car trailer with a 91 z28 on it also over to an rv spot, its worth a shot to try and not looses everything i have, have some pic's of the house and what had to say behind, but still get file to big error message, last rain storm dumpped 7 inchs of rain in 3 hours i got 4 feet of water in the street and totaled out a 98 trans am with 8 inches of water in it, water was to the frame on the 08 gmc 2500hd i had at the time,

ok hood is back in play, just had it tinted side windows and front windshield, bear brakes are next on the list forgot how much i liked them on th e03 i had, there is a much bigger story behind the original truck, everything from you cant the wife is prego to now with the new truck and 4 kids later, tryed to put up pics keep getting message of [pics to big] what do i need to do? and remember i and not a computer savy person,

pick up a 4x4 beater / new tow rig, its a 95 2500 4x4 big block suburban, decided that i am going to do a couple things to the truck is a spray in bedliner... possilby the carpeted liner with a mat. and get rid of the bedliner thats in there now, and factory fog lights with custom made brackets, i have the side caps with the extended wing from my old blue ss but i am thinking about selling it, dont know what to do the truck is so nice dont want to mess with it,

located in toms river, just off rt 37. i took off the end of this week so i am planning on up loading the pics from the old truck as well as the new truck, i wanted to do so much to it but its so nice the way it is i dont want to touch it

i had an 03 blue silverado ss that i loved but i killed it wioth eveything i did to it towing a 14k inclosed car trailer loading it up with scrap metal to take to the junk yard, so i traded in on a 4 door 1500hd, well thats where it all went down hill, that truck was a mess and i dumped way to much money in it so i sold it and bought an 08 gmc 2500 hd desial crew cab, loved the truck but just way more than i need it for, so yesterday i traded it in on an 05 awd silver silverado ss with 49k miles on it, the ss was a garaged kept, never driven in snow or bad weather, drove 3 hours one way to look at it then 4 hours back in traffic, the trucks only mod is a soft bed cover, it looks just as good from 20 feet as it does at 5 even the inside of the crome rims are mint, i ordered from the dealer a couple silverado decals [want to put under the ss on the doors] and factory vent visors, also going to put a brake control in and order the led under tailgate brake light, thinking about a cowl hood but not sure, also looking for winter wheels dont want to destroy the crome ones, i just might find the reason to clean out the 2 car garage and put it in there, next to the 56 victoria i have, and buy a winter 4x4 beater have pics just need to figure out how to attach them,

there is somemore stuff done, dealer is will to give me 12,500 for it stock, thinking about it now,

i cant decide if i want to just trade it in and pick up the new truck, just having a hard time with more payments when i dont have any now, not sure what to due, if i go to trade it in they want it stock, every performance and upgrade will be comming off the ss, this is a hard decishion for me

i have an 03 blue silverado ss i was thinking about selling, trck has 109k miles on it, mostly highway 110 miles each day to and from work, i did get a commuter car for a bit or the miles would be even more, it has always been matained and well taken care of, dealer want to give me 11,500 in stick conditon, no cowl hood, bullit grills, led taillights, bear alumisport brakes, bed caps with the bigger tailgate fin, i am not sure what to due, any help in this would be nice, was thinking i could sell it for $16,000 before i traded it in but not sure if that even worth it, 11,500 is not bad is it? i due need a 4 door but not sure if i want to lose my ss to get it, but i dont need 2 trucks. the new truck is a white 1500hd 4 door with some extras but its got a tan interior, but its also has leather and 76k miles on it, 8lug, 6.0, auto with 4wheel drive,

not new to having a silverado ss i have had it since 03 it is bright blue with about 109k miles on it now, truck has done everything i have ever asked it to due, but i may need to sell it family is to big now and we all cant fit in it, we shall se what happens, just wanted to say hello
