So I have a Silverado SS 2007. I just recently got a JVC KW-AVX830 head-unit for my truck and I am planning on adding some JL Audio subs under the bench seat in the back. I was initially interested in 2 10inch W3's in the back but the guy at the audio shop said the Bose system will be drowned out by the bass and will not sound good. So he recommended W0's or W1's. Anybody have any input?

I'm thinking about getting something similar. I have a new JVC AVC headunit and was planning on going with 2-10/12 W1's or 2-10 W3's. The guy at the audio shop recommended the W1's because he said the W3's might drown out the bose's speakers. What do you guys think??

Hey Dylan the clinic was a good learning experience. I bought a whole adams kit to get started on my truck, unfortunatley they ran out of towels. I wanted to detail my truck this Saturday.. is there any towels that you recommend I use while working on the truck? I planned on washing it, clay bar, polish and wax. Or will any micro fiber towels will do? Thanks

Is there an admission cost for the clinic?

I have no experience in detailing but I'd like to learn. I just scratched my truck really bad yesterday so I'll do anything to learn how to keep my truck clean and maybe fix the scratch. Would it be cool if I came down, eventhough Im relatively new to the board? I'm coming from the OC. Thanks

Yesterday I decided to help out a buddy move....bad idea! During the move I had to drive through a very narrow driveway and a fence wire was sticking out and keyed my truck all the way down the side! : ( I almost cried! Anyway I'm trying to fix it up so it doesn't look so bad. Any idea where I can get some touch up paint and how to do it? Any input would help out. Thanks guys

Well... I never help people move because usually something happens to my truck....and last night something did! I went around a narrow driveway and didn't see this fence wire sticking out and it keyed my truck all on one side. It looks horrible!! I swear I almost cried. I love my truck! I don't have the money for a new paint job but do you guys know how well touch up paint works?? and where I can get it? My truck is black so the white line all on the side totally stands out! : (

Hey guys, I'm a proud owner of a 2007 black SS Silverado. Bought it back in December of 2006. I would love to interact with other SS members from my area.
