  1. A Lot of custom built engines are going to have short warranty periods if any warranty at all. This is due to the fact that they can not control how it was tuned, supporting modifications, Installation, and many other factors that are uncontrollable after it leaves their shop. As mentioned A replacement is the way to go. Either a low mileage used one from someone like LKQ or A New Remanufactured unit through the dealer or some other source.
  2. It was more to give you an Idea of the part. Is yours missing or something?
  3. I will reach out and attempt to get a response.
  4. I looked it up online and found you a parts break down. As mentioned it mounts to the passenger side of the trans with 2 bolts. It catches the hangers on each of the Catalytic Converters. Hope this helps.
  5. I actually had a photo on my phone. This is the only image I have right now though.
  6. No, it was on 2WD models as well. I won't be able to get to it until this weekend but I can get you a picture of one from one of my truck. It mounts on the Passenger side of the trans with 2 bolts and catches the end of the catalytic converter pipes on the true dual exhaust on these trucks.
  7. Come on guys. A racing pinstripe, Roll up windows, and basic work truck seats... It even has the cool Knock off windshield decal. I have a feeling all that added crap actually makes it less valuable. If I was looking for a Work truck, I wouldn't want any of that crap on there.
  8. It's a work truck version so it's more if a sleeper...
  9. No, the pins in that connector are different from the PCM pins. The factory E-fan harness is part of the Main Core support Headlamp Harness. There is then a plug that connects it to the Main Engine Harness where the PCM pins are. IMO it's better to take the Whole Head lamp harness If you can, as you have to unwrap it to remove that section of it and then you have to either re-wrap it to an existing harness or feed it along on the outside. Then you have to pull an engine harness apart to get the plug with the 2 wires going to the PCM.
  10. The stroker kit alone is going to cost you some money. Probably around the same as a Getting a pull out replacement engine. If you drop the coin to have a Stroker engine built, Chances are you will just break the transmission shortly after.
  11. No, The plug that goes into that has the PCM pins on it. If you got them from a junkyard go back and get the rest.
  12. To the best of my knowledge you can not get on from GM any more. I would buy another one from a place like LKQ They are usually legit and tell you the milage of what they have in there system. They also offered remanufactured engines as well. You probally lose the core charge with the block being damaged though.
  13. All the more reason to do the swap in my opinion!!! Even if you had to sell it, I don't think the LS Swap will hurt it. Alot more people may be intrested as a result of the swap.
  14. Where are you located and what are you wanting for a copy?
  15. My understanding is there is supposed to be a decal warning for the AWD under the hood. Possibly on the left hand side of the core support. Does anyone have a Photo of this? I would like to see what the decal looks like as well as the correct location. Any help would be much appreciated.
  16. A truck like that is only Original 1 time. From a purist standpoint, If it does not have the original engine or paint the value is significantly less. You can restore the paint and graphics but it still won't be the value of an original in the same shape condition. It would be extremely tough to do a true correct nuts and bolts restoration. As long as you're not hacking the frame or body to make it fit, I see no reason not to do an LS swap.
  17. WICKEDOWESIX Is Art's user name. I reached out to a friend about this and ART will make them for us but He says we need 5 Pre Paid orders. None less than 5 to produce these. I will Take 2 just need to come up with 3 other guys. I don't officially have exact pricing but I do Recall it being around the $500 range. Material cost is not cheap and that's what a bulk of the money is going towards. These are way better looking than a Hydro dipped equivalent. If anyone else is ready and willing to Purchase one of these post up. I will Commit to the first 2 of them. We need a minimum of 3 more guys to make this happen.
  18. Like the title says. I am looking to purchase and original drill template. Preferably an original template and not a copy. If someone has one and is willing to sale or possibly trade please let me know.
  19. Awh you edited your post... Yes, I saw it online at a salvage auction in Sacramento and it was much clear in those pictures of the dual Antenna's. Also, I have confirmed 100% with some vin numbers I have saved in my records. Red and Silver 2007 SS trucks in addition to the Black. Super rare But they do exist in red and Silver for 2007.
  20. The cab is not 06-07. Also the Door having a blue tag from the state is also a good sign they changed the cab. They are supposed to attach it to the body and not a removable panel. An 06 should have 1 shark fin antenna on the left side, not dual antennas or a passenger side antenna. That was specific to the 03-05 models. Onstar is on the left and XM is on the right. In 06 they went to a single antenna for both signals. Onstar also went to a digital signal vs. the previous models analog system. 07's are rare and most were black. I have however seen 2 red ones and 1 silver one.
  21. I believe you are correct about TRW. I only have these images not the plug pin itself.
  22. Oh yes, The GM Mark of excellence badge and wheel weight that have been plastidipped over...
  23. TVS 2300 kit for cathedrals right here. http://ls1tech.com/forums/parts-classifieds/1809316-tvs-2300-magnacharger.html
