  1. AWD SS with Sun Roof in Silver Birch!!! Thats a no brainer... Thats a rare truck with a sun roof. As mentioned it needs a few small things but it looks fairly clean on the exterior.
  2. It's not a bad looking wheel. I like the ones on your DEI SS too!!! I bet those would look good on the Silver birch...
  3. That's Cute!!! Especially on a work truck... and it's probally a V6 to boot! The best part is the Lawn mower and the Metal rake!!!
  4. I am not sure. I personally have never done it. I believe on Youtube you solder the leads in somewhere and then use AUX or something. I have to look it up again. I also have a friend who knows more about this, I will ask him tomorrow.
  5. You tube shows you how to wire it in. Ebay for the software. It's sold already installed on a laptop. You just need to buy a cable or a tech 2. The tech 2 is cumbersome for past through programing. I have been considering getting a genuine mongoose cable for just that. I use a genuine tech 2 FWIW.
  6. What's your intention for this area? They sell a gauge mount that takes its place.
  7. I didn't look close enough at your truck, but your wife's truck has the original bose equipment in it. My personal truck was missing a head unit when I bought it. They ripped the Boom boom stuff out and left all the cables... They also left the speakers in the doors. I want to say there Orion Cobalt series. I had to fix the hack wiring job by getting some clean door harness and some plug in adapters for aftermarket speakers. There was some type of coil thing but I could not find any info and they were corroded. I Placed both a single disc and a 6 disc unit in there and hands down the 6 disc unit sounded better and had better reception. The local dealer charged me $56 to program it. I have since purchased the Programing software and do it myself. You can get them to come on and test them in acc mode but you can't drive the vehicle with it on while it's locked. IMO the Navi Unit is a POS for what they go for used. It's not hard to add the AUX port either.
  8. Where did you get it? I tried a year ago and it was discontinued. Imo it looks like the oem DEI SS ones were painted silver after the fact any way. I can see over spray where they taped it up.
  9. Ouch! That's expensive for a budget mod... I have 3 of those. I would sell for less than what he wants if any on in the CA area wants one. Hell for his price I will throw in the clamps and new poly bushing kit.
  10. That was me and some one that had an original sent me a copy.
  11. I hope they fixed the pipe being a little crooked on the Silver one when they welded everything up.
  12. You realize $615 X 25 units = $15,375??? Now, there was a small discount. I don't remember the exact cost but it has to be paid up front before they would even order material to build them. Then It would be at least 1- 2 months month out from when they actually start production... Some one would then have to pick up and store all 25 units until they sold. And lets not forget shipping isn't cheap these days either... If I had to guess I would say at least $100
  13. Just about everything has been discontinued. I tried ordering some of the bolt #5 and they have been replaced by what GM deems as suitable replacements. There supposed to be a flush mount bolt. Instead I received a hex head bolt similar to #9 . When the dealer contacted GM they said it was a suitable replacement. Part # 2,3,4,9, and 10 are about all you can get as they are used on similar Years, Makes, and Models also found else where on the vehicle. They would not even give templates to mount the end pieces that mount to the bed sides even after I got the dealer the the info from this forum. Best GM would do is send screen shots to the dealer with the info I provided. I asked them to send the PDF or have them print the template and I would gladly pay for it. Apparently the individual at GM said no. I have a feeling a dealer body shop might be able to get the info through GM but the parts guy would not go any further with GM. At least the emblems I ordered came with the info to properly locate them on the vehicle.
  14. My thread from earlier this year on the subject... http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/88635-any-interest-in-having-the-hotchkis-sway-bar-kits-produced-again/
  15. Read closer... Ships from manufacture... I called every company that still listed it for sale and had them check there inventory. No one had it in stock any where but said they would check with the manufacture. It's been discontinued since like 2010 or 2011. I have personally been to Hotchkis and spoke with them in person as well as had several phone conversations. They have no interest in bringing it back.
  16. How does the sunroof look from the inside? Did you have some one locally install it or do it your self?
  17. $615 was the price for a complete set of front and rear. I am not. I sent it out to be copied locally but I am getting the run around. I may have to pop in and just pick up my stuff.
  18. I already tried that. Hardly anyone on this board expressed any interest. I still went forward and requested info. Production runs are in groups of 25 per bar. I would have needed to pay for 25 front kits and 25 rear kits up front before they started production. They have no interest in doing these or offering the kits again. The last retail Price was like $615 for a kit and the discount wasn't much off from that. I would have been the sole owner of the product and would have had to store and ship it on my own. I would have needed to sale at least 20 of the 25 kits at the last known retail price to recoup the cost of what I would have to spend up front. Of the pole I did on PT.net I think only 10 people expressed intrest in the kit for these trucks. I have obtained a used front bar and a new rear bar and I have attempted to get them reproduced. Unfortunately I keep getting the run around on the project...
  19. Got to see pictures. Is it a sun roof truck? Leather or cloth Interior? What number is it?
  20. It would be a 9.5 with option code AXN. It will use the same 10 bolt outer axle bearings and seals.
  21. My understanding is there is other ways to still Wash a title. If you research the title and it shows its been wrecked or salvaged prior but it has been through other states or had a lien sale, Walk away!!! I have seen salvaged vehicles registered through lien sale in other states and come back with a clean title.
  22. The 05,06,07 could be ordered either way. I don't have exact numbers but I have seen a few with Cloth in all colors. Obviously My personal preference would be loaded. I know some theft recoveries have been put back with cloth as good leather is hard to come by.
