  1. Thanks guys. It is all back together now. Been sitting in the garage without any eyes being laid on it in a few weeks. Might shake it's legs for a bit this weekend if it's nice out. And I think it will be for sale here soon too. [emoji27] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  2. Sold all that good stuff.... Now I have a fogger sitting in the toolbox that will be getting sold too. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

  5. Thanks man. It took about 12hrs to do it all in total. I mostly had to strip the harness', situate where I wanted everything, and extend a few wires. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

      Congratulations. It sounds great.

  8. Well here she is on a really good base tune from Reynaldo (CHPspecial). Should have it on the street tomm to see how the trans does, and the tune. BTW the truck is in a huge need of a wash and detail. And don't mind the garage it's a little messy too. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0LRdk4fjXIo"frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  9. Ready to flash a tune in it! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  10. The paint itself is tested to over 400*. The headers actually look like shit. They were about the only thing I had off the truck and didn't do anything to. As for the plug boots, they are a DEI spark plug boot protector. I was going to get them in black but went with these. The hoses are done with expanded hose and wire sleeve. You can get them in a ton of colors, but it gets pricy. I actually used 2 kits because one kit didn't have enough to do what I wanted done. Thanks guys. And more pics coming. And maybe a video too. I just hope it runs half as good as it looks. It was one of those projects that was left sitting for almost a year and I had to remember what was done, and needed done.
  11. I really wish I would have kept the fogger on it. It definitely would have looked and been fast! Should have everything on and ready to go tonight. Waiting to hear back on my tune now. Need to have this done by next friday Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  12. Yes it is hydrographics. My buddy who lives across the street does it. He sponsors my sons JR dragster also. Top notch work! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  13. Here are a few teaser pics for now. Hopefully have it ready to fire up tonight, and a tune soon. Intake top was just sitting on the base, and is cleared now waiting to cure. Enjoy.....

STAY TUNED!
  15. Best upgrade imo is a hydro boost conversion. It can be cheaper than rotors and calipers, and it is a huge improvement in stopping power.
  16. Ethanol will eat the glue from the filter and will accelerate the wear on the pump if it's not rated for ethanol.
  17. The data for the FAST injectors is hard to get. Those who have it won't give it up from what I have seen. I have some 65# and need the info too. Some of the good tuners have the info.
  18. Seeing his face on Christmas morning was a memory in itself. Then the new car was another memory. And when we started it for the first time his smile was from ear to ear in he helmet.
  19. I thought I could get away by spending the bare minimum to get started. I could have just went with what we had, and did some paint work and motor rebuild. That would have saved a ton. You can find a good car ready to roll for around 4k. But if you don't have all the accessories then the price can quickly double. Everyone who I talked to that has or is in on jr's said that the time spent with the kids far outweighs the money spent on the sport. I hope the same goes with us.
  20. I forgot to mention that for anyone wanting to get into jr's. It's a money pit! I could have easily bought a full size car that ran 10's with the amount of money I put into this.
  21. Well I have been off the site for a while, and hopefully in the next month or so I will be done with my truck. I got into a project that totally has consumed my time and money as I let dust collect on the truck. I picked up a Jr Dragster for my oldest son who is 8. Gave it to him for christmas, and since it was a roller I had free rein to do what I wanted to do to it. Nope! I found another complete car that I only had to change the body color, and go through the motor on it..... Nope. That snowballed into a full on build and customization to it. Then I needed a trailer to haul it. Got a deal on a used 20' Haulmark that needed a little tlc. That too went farther than I thought it would. Damn.... Now I have to have something that can tow it in the pits, and haul the family around the track with..... Found a cheap golf cart that needed a lot of lovin. I thought that I would just put a new top on it, cover the seats, and put a back seat on it after I got it running..... Nope. So after enough money that I could have invested in a twin turbo LSX, I have ALMOST completed this project. The wife put a stop on the spending since we just bought land to build our new house on. So that means the truck will be put back together with the parts I have for it already, and what I don't have everything for I will be selling. And here is the reason for it. Before with the original car in the background, and the truck collecting dust. Some as it sits now. Everything was basically made by me or modified along with the chassis. And the Tow Cart (Go BUCKS) Before how it sat when I picked it up. Now. Yes I made the diamond plate top, all the frame work, front bumper, and everything else. And some interior shots of the trailer. The trailer now has all the hold downs, diamond plate, and cabinets installed.
