  1. something isnt right, your tune is either off or you got a boost leak this is all assuming this is on a silverado ss stockish motor.
  2. i went 11.1 and was pushing 22 psi for a couple years b4 the rods bent, i was on e85 thou. IMO i think high 11's is very safe for the stock motor if you got everythig in check.

  4. yes brackets will work . get at minimum 44# injectors and 255 pump. happy boosting!
  5. contact zippy, im using a zr1 map and you can buy a conversion harness that plugs and plays . zippy knows where to get them i just forgot.
  6. i think you have way to much free time!! lol looks great! do a hydro boost conversion already and get rid of that big ugly vacuum booster!!

  8. afr's should be mid to high 11's, you can lean it out more but there is minimal gains from what we have seen on my truck over the past 4 years its been on e85. good times!
  9. i went and looked at the midnight edition today with the 6.2 while the dealership was closed so i can really take a deep look at it with out getting bugged by sales men and its cool i like the tires on it , the rims look like cheap les schwab generic rims unfortunatly but i just dont think i can swallow the 44k price tag ... lol . i wish the 6.2 came in the LT package instead of them shoving the LTZ package down your throat with the big motors.

  12. only reason i mentioned it is i know how easy it is to turn the heated seats on by accident. if yours arent working you will be shocked when you pull back your leather on the seat and see what appears to have been a small fire in the heating element . its an easy fix to replace the elements and could be what you smelt burning .
  13. yeah there is a high country that has a 6.2 but seems like all of the 6.2 are all LTZ models unfortunatly. i really dont want leather and sunroof and all of that , i just want a LT package with a 6.2 lol is that to hard to ask GM?
  14. yeah i was actually really interested in the diamond white, im kinda tired of black it sucks to keep clean. but he said he had a midnight one with a 6.2 was the only reason for interest in it and the fact most of it is painted and not chrome.

  16. you might be able to get away with a single 450 and 80lb injectors but they will be tapping out . i had a d1 with a 3.5 with 10% od crank and i was making 21-22 psi (went 11.1@124) i think i was putting down maybe 750whp but i was on e85 also. i was running dual 450's and 126lb injectors but e85 needs 30% more fuel .
  17. are you heated seats still working? i would pull the leather up and see if the elements are going bad.
  18. has anybody gotten one of these midnight editions? if so how do you like it? my buddy is a sales manager on a lot over hear and says he has one with a 6.2 in it and i kinda got the bug for a new truck.
  19. well i went to the track to make a run but my trans is toast, i think the clutches are fried. its not putting load on the motor/turbo so i couldnt even spool it off the line so i just rolled out and shut it down at the 1/8th and on 15psi it went 102 mph in the 1/8th . so the trans is coming out on monday to get refreshed then ill get back to the track . hoping to get it into the 9's on 23psi .

  22. update: launch at 12 psi it turns into a hovercraft , launch at 9 psi and i about black out . just put a msd 2 step on it to try and get the boost launching under control and consistent before i hit the track. unfortunately there were lots of bugs to work out and still a couple of little ones to go.
