  1. She's def going to the track, but according to two local tracks...it looks like August . I was rather disapointed in no more Test n Tune days available that work w/o taking off from work.
  2. Maybe I lost my mind, lol...but I like her a lot. I've also considered dropping it about 1.5-2 inches...the ultimate hipocracy, lowering a 4x4.
  3. I almost kept the SS, too...but when they said 16K....I said it's yours!!! This new tune in this thing is absolutely great. I waited till my patrol car (2013 interceptor--basically SHO) had 15K on it. If it holds up to 15K miles of patrol use...the truck should hold up to 100K, lol. The trasmission is actually a pain in the arse....it's adaptive and if you don't get on it frequently it'll shifter slower than cold molasses lol. KC, the fx4 in the grey was calling me pretty hard but in the end I said...I can buy more mods sooner, lol. I wish ford started doing bumper wraps instead of painting them though. Rock chips will rust that way. I'm pretty happy w/ it so far.
  4. Lol, aight aight a subtle change in eronomics. Will that work?
  5. Ohhh snap, I knew it was going to be bad but c'mon guys, lol. I was having some severe issues putting a second car seat in the SS, so I needed an upgrade. After the tune is pretty snappy and amazingly torquey. Still need Fx heads and tails. The surround is also getting PTM. From she'll get a 2" level and some 33's in about a year. Turbos sound pretty cool, too. I was going to get a new Vortec...but the Ford was a good deal cheaper. Pulled her out the door for 23,900 after trade and no money down. And they threw in the Rhino liner for free. To be honest I think it's slightly faster now than the SS was. The SS was zippy tuned, ported TB, 2nd and 4 gear synchros, intake, true duals, and thermostat (I think 170*). I really miss the AWD though and the dual climate control....I should've sprung for that.
  6. Yeah yeah I know, but I got a killer deal. The SS has been gone for about 3 months....for this 2013 SuperCrew Ecoboost F-150. So far it's been tinted, plati-dipped front emblem, solo mach-x exhaust, blacked out side mirror markers, and now she's tuned, too. I wanted the FX4 but it was about 6K more and I didn't want it that bad, lol. It's a nice truck, E-locker, hill-descent,truck apps, my sync, a lot of options minus leather and PTM numbers.
  7. Blahhhh HAHAHAHA, I came in here expecting a "real" nice SS clone.
  8. Aight guys, hopefully this will help someone else with another solution. Sooooo Chevy has had this thing on and off for about 3 total weeks and to the sum of about 300.00 getting it diagnosed....and in 10 minutes of thinking really hard and about 3 days of searching with no answer I fixed the problem in about 15 minutes. When they replaced the cluster they knocked loose the connection at the scosche warning chime thingy-ma-bob. Checked all the connections and viola!!! no ABS and no !Brake lights....also no codes after about 15 miles of driving. Total communication with the OBDII. Thanks guys, I hope this might help someone in the future and also saved me 974.00 in parts and labor to replace perfectly fine ABS componets.
  9. Wasssup guys been a while. I've searched and came up with about 100 possible issues, haha. This is a run down on what happened and all help is appreciated. about 200 miles ago, the abs light started intermitently chiming and the cluster went bad (Speedometer was getting stuck). Then the !brake light would come on and then off under light braking, so I checked the fluid and everything was ok. Finally got Chevy to replace the cluster as truck has 55K miles (it's an 05 SS with intake, exhaust, tune, 180* thermostat, and bored Throttle Body). Chevy fixes the cluster and when they went to do the inspection on the truck there was no power to OBDII. All the parameters would pass, but were flipping between yes/no constantly and therefore failed to communicate with DMV. They said the ABS was bad. We finally got everything to communicate and the codes cleared---now DMV does not "Recognize the vehicle---they said that it was because it had an aftermarket tune. in 5 years there has been no issues. After driving today with the cleared codes...the same ABS !Brake lights have came back. They started chiming and would go off when I was completely idle with foot on the brake....after sitting at a stoplight they came on and now stay on again. Any idea where I should start looking??? ****Important when they checked for codes with the lights on, there were NO CODES*** I've also had the red battery flash at me a few times. I have an aftermarket radio with a Scosche warning chime connection thingy-ma-bob, that I think might be causing an issue as when key to "On" the chimes sound WEAK...and then intermitent.....so I'm wondering if since it communicates with EBCM, theres a short in it. Also is it possible there's a bad ground in the electrical system causing this??? Thanks guys
  10. 109.XX, and that was recently. I did average 16.1 mpg on that tank though. I'm usually 13-13.5.
  11. I could've swore I got 20AWHP...all jokes aside, it's an easy FREE MOD that just keeps temperatures a little more constant, IMO. Never noticed any gains, but I am sure I didn't lose any either.
  12. Might seem like a stupid question, but I took mine off a couple of weeks ago to rotate my tires and now I cannot get them to line up or snap in place snuggly...is there a technique or a certain alignment? Congrats on the sale...I just had to buy a replacement due to it flying off from misalignment.
  13. Is the bumper still for sale? I demolished mine in the side of friend's wife's Accords door in my yard the other day. LA04SS, PM me pics of what you have and I might be interested. Shipping would be to 28327. and I'll even PM you my Phone number, so we can talk if you have it available.
  14. *Bump* for a nice truck.... BTW, My dad and you have the same name, lol. Chris Blackburn. it's an uncommon name...we may be related.
