I appreciate all the advice. Looked around and found the flo pro muffler. I think I'll be ordering one of these within the next few weeks.

I just have the stock manifolds. I figure the 22 inch magnaflow will calm it down enough
-
I guess I'm getting old because I'm considering switching up my exhaust to make it quiet. Currently I have 2 loudmouths dumped before the rear axle with no x pipe. I'm considering adding a magnaflow and dumping it after the axle to dial it down a couple of notches. Just wanted to see if anyone has ran a similar setup or if anyone has any other ideas. I don't want to go back to completely stock, just dial it back to a more reasonable level.

Electrical trouble. Most likely taillight

Scratch that, now it's just stuck on the lower "running" brightness again. I'll check the harness tomorrow and see if I can find a bad spot. -

Someone recommended replacing the brake light switch. That seems to have fixed the light but the battery is dead again. I guess they weren't related. Thank you for the suggestion. -
I'm not great with wiring and electronics beyond changing fuses. My passenger side tail light has been stuck on the "stop" brightness for some time. The driver's side works perfectly fine. I took the fuse out and put it back in hoping that it would solve the problem. The passenger's side tail light was stuck on the "running" brightness, not the "stop" brightness. Then I closed the tailgate and it changed back to the "stop" brightness. This morning my battery was dead. I'm guessing it's related to the taillight but I'm not completely sure. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Chris

New Headunit And Amp. Need Some Help.
wolfpackman replied to wolfpackman's topic in Radio/Electronics/Security
i've always been a fan of kicker so i'm trying to get one of their amps. -
So i'm getting a couple new things for the truck for christmas. One is the Pioneer AVH-3200DVD head unit and the other thing I want to do is to get a good amp to push my subs. The one I have currently is terrible. I have 2 Kicker CVR 10s in a sealed box under the rear seats. It says they can handle 400 watts rms each so i've been looking at the Kicker 750.1 amp but i'm tempted to go with the 1000.1 to get that extra bass. Just wanted to see what yall thought about it because I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to this stuff. I appreciate the help.

I tore off my left side (drives side) brake duct off my front bumper today at the parking lot i park at for school. If anyone knows where i can buy one or if you have one for sale it would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to repair this one but its not working too well.

nice. none of it will be 3 inch. mostly stock and i think there's 2.5 after the muffler

So I'm thinking about getting some pacesetter longtube headers for my truck, I've already got 2 SLP Loudmouths dumped under the bed. My only concern is that there won't be enough backpressure with no cats and the Loudmouths certainly don't add much backpressure. Will I lose torque from the lack of backpressure? I know it will sound mean I just want it to perform as good as it sounds.

are you gonna sell the black ss rims? if so i might be interested. always wanted some like that on mine
-
not at all. mine sounds a lot deeper i think. i really think the turn downs made a big difference
-
nah man i can't get a clip because I have no clue where our digital camera went haha. It sounds really deep on lower rpms and raspy on higher rpms. I love going thru the parking deck and hearin the echo

Just wondering if anyone has a clip of an SS with longtube headers and SLP Loudmouths. I've got 2 loudmouths dumped under the bed right now and considering some OBX longtubes in the future. Just looking for a sound clip or some opinions on this setup. I don't mind being loud
