  1. Yeah, it was pretty awesome! Hopefully this will do the trick! DTL-913A481 Differential, Eaton Detroit Truetrac, Limited Slip, 30-Spline, GM, 8.5/8.6 in., Each (Mfr. #: 913A481

Honestly, I don't think there was much of a change at all with the new heads, maybe 1 psi more. The biggest problem I'm having is belt slip. I have the smallest Gates HD belt available with a rip pulley and the bastard still slips - I'm sure the slick green back on those doesn't help any. Do you have that problem? Good, a 24 degree spike isn't bad at all! Not sure if you saw this, but here's what happened during my final launch last weekend, Transfer Case is just fine I have a Detroit Locker Truetrac on order from Summit that should be here tomorrow morning
  3. Awesome, welcome! Lots! You can check out my build thread here http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/85604-the-storm/
  4. Mine's not a DD but just about every time I take her out, someone either trys to race me at a stop light or compliments me on it!
  5. Thanks buddy! lol, I gotta hand it to you Jason, you were right! I honestly didn't think she would be this fast, but I'm definitely not complaining I'm going to try like hell to make it to the track one last time this season to see if I can get 10's. Problem is, there are only 2 dates left: This Sunday the 15 and the 22nd but my Daughter has her Cheerleading Competition on the 22nd so I can't go then. If the stars line up, I'll be there this Sunday Thanks man, good luck with yours!
  6. If everything works out, I just might have an updated time this weekend!
  7. Both diffs are stock and holding up fine, but something broke inside my transfer case last weekend so she's under the knife right now getting a replacement. ...and BTW, give Zippy a call to tune your truck if you really want to go fast, lol
  8. I went with the TVS 2300. The 1900 comes as a kit for our trucks but you can upgrade to the 2300 for like an extra $600. Since I'm AWD, I could never dyno it, so I just took her to the track to gauge my mods. Before the blower I had Corsa exhaust, 1-3/4" Dynatech headers, swapped trannies to the 4L80e and had a 3k stall converter...ran a 14.2. Then I added the Maggie and ran a 13.2, Then I added a cam, larger headers to 1-7/8" ARH , ID 1000 injectors, and an 8 rib pulley system - Ran a 12.00. THEN I upgraded my fuel system, switched over to e85 fuel, installed TFS 235 heads and just ran an 11.07 last Sunday with 22" street tires. She'll run 10's as soon as I get some drag radials and can get her to hook better It's the most streetable truck too, that is until you step on the gas!
  9. You'll be fine living in Arizona, I wouldn't worry about it at all!
  10. I was in your exact position about 1.5 yrs ago trying to decide on a pro or magna charger. I ended up deciding on a Maggie and it's nothing short of awesome - soo happy with it. One of the deciding factors for me was I wanted to install it myself and wanted a complete system where I didn't have to buy this or that with good instructions - Magnuson has just that if you buy their kit. I have nothing against a Pro Charger either, just wanted to give another option. Good luck with your decision!
  11. Here's a good deal on a new one... http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/88409-corsa-group-buy-14279/

That's weird because it seems like I'm losing boost too the colder the IAT's, but I'm pretty sure the blower's more efficient too. I was seeing a strong 15psi around 135 deg and looking at my track logs, I was 12.5 to a max of 14 at a max temp of 93! My whole fuel system is designed for e85
  13. Thanks Brandon, but Honestly I have to give all the credit to Zippy on this one. I called him one day and asked what heads, injectors, fuel system, etc. and he basically told me what to buy! I'll say it again in case anyone missed it, dude's the best tuner anywhere IMO and really great to work with.
  14. Man, I wish! Unfortunately there's no AWD dyno by me that will accommodate my wheel base.
  15. with a magnacharger it is, at least as far as I'm aware from my log file it looks like it ranges from 12.5 to 14psi
  16. Fuggit, I just ordered a reman NP 149 from LKQ which will be here this Thursday! Thanks anyway guys!
  17. The person I spoke to says it's not only the case but the internals are better/stronger as well Since it's a direct replacement, I would assume one would have to still swap out the input shaft for the 80e
  18. I broke my stock NP 149 transfer case last weekend at the track, did a little web searching and came across a company called Rockland Standard Gear who claims to make a direct plug n play replacement that is much better than the NP 149. It's the Borg Warner 4473. Has anyone ever heard of this replacement and/or gear company? Any recommendations on how best to proceed? Thank you!

Yeah, initially I had some problems with the TPIS sending the truck into REP mode but they finally got it figured out and it has worked great ever since! No matter how you slice it, it's a pretty amazing feat to get these trucks moving into the mid to low 11's with a Magna Charger IMO
  20. Thanks! You'd be lovin life at only 915' where I was at then, lol
  21. Thanks again Pat! I'm pretty happy about my times...at least for now, until someone beats me which is only a matter of time, lol Thanks Ramon! I know, it really sucks I didn't get there, but that's how the diffs crumble! I'm not exactly sure what broke. I was just happy she managed to load back onto the tilt bed trailer I had! ...maybe the rear diff, maybe the front, not quite sure just yet. I'm dropping her off at my tech's garage this evening so he can go through everything.

Thanks Pat! Friday I took off work to install all new 3/4" heater hose for my HX to eliminate all the 90's I had in my system and reverse the flow on the HX. This was the before because Lingenfelter told me to plumb the hot from the SC into the top front inlet of the HX... This is the after, using the spring benders instead of 90's and reversing the flow so the hot from the SC enters the bottom rear of the HX, exits the top front, then flows to the ice box... The flow increased substantially. So much in fact, when I open the cover to my ice box water hits the back side of the box and splashes out all over the place! lol. IAT's went from 30 above ambient to around 15 while cruising with no ice. At the track they were 93 degs. at 122 with ice - ambient was around 59 11.5's a very respectable time too, congrats! Once you get your IAT's down you'll be right there with me I'm sure
  23. Thank you John ! Overall, I'm really happy with the way she ran yesterday. My times improved with each run as I changed little things to improve my 60'
