  1. Here is my new '08... Just finished putting some goodies on it.. 2" Leveling Kit, GM Stainess Oval side steps, and some GM bed rails.. Dave
  2. Just an update.. My '06 is gone in place of a New '08 V-Max!!!
  3. Good talking to you tonight Justin.. Please keep me posted per our discussion.. Thing is I would like to keep running my 3.73's for Gas Mileage, a front end gear change should not be a big deal right? Here is my email again [email protected] Dave
  4. Thanks! I have been getting questions on selling my Truck outright.. What would you put as a value on it? Truck is near perfect.. Also has, tint, bed liner, running boards, and new Goodyears.. I know the Truck market along with everything else is not the best but what do you think? Thanks, Dave
  5. 2006 Vortec Max for Trade Hello, I have found myself in need of a 4x4 would like to see if anyone would be interested.. Truck is all stock and in excellent shape.. 46k miles.. Call for more details if interested. Dave 772-370-9453 or email [email protected]
  6. Yea, I had my truck parked next to a 4X4 today.. looking at the parts side by side it seems like just an easy bolt in and out job.. The thing is having all the brackets and hardware to make it all work.. I think I would like have an AWD system anyway.. Looks like I will have to find a Donor SS or Denali.. I do realize it may be easier to buy a new truck but that's out of the budget.. Actually either way may be out of the budget.. Anyone want to Trade???? Dave
  7. Hello, I did check and the truck has the torsion set up.. Does anyone have some underneath pictures of the AWD or 4WD set up? It really does not look like that bad of a job with all the right parts. I can even see what appears to be a cap over the back of the rotors to cover the splines to accept the half shafts.. One thing I am not sure if there is any special electronics for the AWD.. I know the 4WD in 2006 is a Push button system on the left side of the dash.. It seem like GM would have a standard wiring harness to accept all options.. What do you think? Dave
  8. Thanks for your input guys.. As far as the gearing goes, I have the same drivetrain and gearing as the 2WD SS. It still may be cheaper then trading my truck in??? Dave
  9. Hello this is my first post and may be a little strange. I have found myself in need of a 4WD vehicle and was wondering if it is possible to convert my 2006 Vortex Max to AWD or 4WD with minimal issues.. Which would be better for getting me though sugar sand and mud conditions AWD or 4WD. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks, Dave And BTW Great Site... http://www.chevelles.com/forums/picture.ph...p;pictureid=509
