i did the same thing not too long ago and so i took it back to autozone and turns out it wasn't fully charged when i bought it. take it back and have them check it

thanks for catching that, i read your post so fast i must have missed it! my buddy wanted to drop stock 317s on his 4.8 and then he found out what it would do to his comp and he dropped that idea really fast lol, i think that it would drop it somewhere in the 8's or very very low 9's bad enough those things feel like slugs to begin with

317's on a 4.8 wouldn't be such a great idea wouldn't it drop the comp wayyy low? great idea for boost but if your planing on staying n/a i would look into something else. as far as whats needed http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/front-page-news/12719-ls6-intake-swap.html kind of a lot of work not to mention its 90mm unless you get a ls1 intake and keep your 78mm tb but if thats what your doing it would be a waste of time imo. but its your truck do what makes you happy, hope this helped

yes there is changes but to made but i feel if your getting it for a really good price don't pass it up drop that bad boy in and have fun. its your truck do with it what you want. besides modding is half the fun

yes you will have to relocate the acc bracket on our trucks for this mod to work.

what codes is it throwing? this sounds exactly like what mine was doing. did you check all the grounds? go back and re check the wires to the MAP sensor.
