I noticed an improvement in my gas mileage after i added a spectre intake. I while installing the intake i knocked out the screen in the m.a.s. being careful not to touch the sensors. I noticed an improvement in the performance and mileage when my foot isnt in the firewall. It woke it up! so much so that the friend that help install it ordered him an intake and did the same thing to the m.a.s. on his titan.

I know this is probably a stupid question but im goin to ask anyway. How do i tell by the vin number if its a real ss or not. A friend of mine is thinkin of getting one and he wants to do everything possible to make sure its not a clone. Thanks in advance

Hey guys. I think im finally about to start adding some performance to my SSS. But i was wondering if there was anything i needed to do to the differentials or tranny before or during this process. Any info would be appreciated. ForSSaken

I was reading some of the posts in here the other day with a buddy of mine. We came across the one titled "i raced a titan i won" as we were reading it i started laughing my ass off because he was getting all disappointed cause i have the SSS and he drives a titan. Thanks for the laugh

The other day i was at best buy, and i had finished what i was doin and went outside and lit a cig since i dont smoke in the truck i was walkin towards it though when i noticed a couple of young guys driving by and one of them said hey look at that SS! They came around again and by this time i was proudly standing next to it smiling. they went to other side of the parkin lot and saw decent lookin 70's camaro but came right back to the truck. On the way out they got behind me at the light and couldnt help but smile as i left them sitting there eating exhaust.

I get those questions also. My responses--- fast enough to smoke most of these lil tuners around here that think they are hot s**t. I definately paid enough for it. Hell im still payin for it.

Ok guys, so im on my way home from workand realized i was low on gas. I pulled into the gas station and i pull in behind a 3/4 ton dodge. The guy was pumping gas and playin with his kid but the entire time i could see him looking at my truck out the corner of his eye. finally as i was about done he walks up and asks " is that one of those super sports?" I proudly said hell yea! his response was wow that is a beautiful truck. Ive seen them on the internet but never in person. it looks way better in person. so of course i said thanks and he asked howit ran so i replied like a bat out of hell. we proceeded to talk about its performance and a few races i had gotten myself into and we went on our way. I left amazed at how some people dont realize just how nice these trucks are till they see them up close and personal. just one more experience that makes me a proud SSS owner

I agree the vent shades dont help it any but they were on there when i bought it and its one of the few things seperating my sss with the few others that around my area

Hey guys. I ve got a stock 04 awd SSS, and i was wondering if anyone had ideas on some nonexpensive mods i can do just to make it a lil meaner. Just to make the tuner guys cry a little bit more. Any ideas from cais to anything would be appreciated.

hey guys i need sum help. i got stupid a few weeks ago and managed to back my sss into a tree with the tail gate down. Cant really afford to get a new right now. does neone have an extra layin around or know where i might be able to find one cheaper? any help would be great. i would also like to know where i could find a chrome bowtie with the color matched ss badging for my grille. please help
