well the other day i was out screwing around in 38 degree weather w/o a hood and grille:)they were gettin painted,my truck ran like it never ran before,then boom lost second gear after 2 pulls.it shifts from first to 3rd then 4th:(,so guys i want to get opinions and suggestions on what i should slap in this thing,its my 08'4.8 112 radix,7psi,cam going in as well.something to atleast handle 600hp just to be safe. i need something thats going to take the punishment.ive called 2 places,both over $3000,christmas sale only lol

Actually i got a tune from nelson performance,magnuson is still working on the calibrations for a 4.8,i didnt want to wait:)and besides you cant go wrong with a custom tune...

yea i did the install myself,it roughly added 100-120 according to magnuson,i still havent put it on a dyno yet though to find out.

OK MY RADIX SHOULD BE IN THIS MONDAY COMING UP.I WANT TO BE PREPARED FOR THIS INSTALL.I ALREADY GOT TOOLS,WIRING,SHRINK WRAP,DEX-COOL,SILICONE LUBE,FUEL LINE DISCONNECT TOOL...ETC...ITS SEMS PRETTY SIMPLE,IVE DONE CAM SWAPS AND INTAKE SWAPS SO HERE U GO... FIRST QUESTION-DO I REALLY NEED TWO SET OF HANDS FOR THIS SWAP? 2.DO I REALLY NEED A WIDE-BAND GAUGE? 3.ON THE 08' THEY COME WITH MAGNAVOLT BOX.ARE THEY HARD TO WIRE UP? CAUSE I HATE WIRING. HOW LONG WOULD MY STOCK PUMP LAST WITH THE MAGNAVOLT? 4.OR SHOULD I JUST GO WALBRO? 5.AND GUYS THIS IS GOING TO BE DRIVEN AT FIRST WITH STOCK TUNE FROM MAGNASUN 6.OR SHOULD I GET A LIVE TUNE? 7.DOES ANY ONE HAVE A HPT FILE FOR THIS SWAP? 08 4.8 112 RADIX?8TH LETTER ON VIN IS C.
