  1. Thanks for the info. I looked up the track section and mods but I still can't find prefered cam shaft brands such as lunati, comp, crane, lingenfelter, etc.. as well as lift, duration, and rpm specs. I am looking for the best 0-60 - 1/4 mile cam shaft hp and torque gains for a naturally aspirated engine with exhaust and intake mods. Tell me what your gains are. Thanks
  2. I would never say lightning is a compairable truck to the SS. Just think about it for a second. If the lightning never had a factory supercharger it would be in its grave with the rest of junk out there. With out its forced induction it would be as slow as a s-10. if you ever wan't to compare a lightning with a SS find and race a SS with full exahust and a supercharger then you can talk. Only if chevrolet made the SS with a supercharger from factory there would be no questions. The SS and SRT-10 would be fighting for number one.
  3. I have a 2003 SS silverado with a cold air intake, and true dual exhasuts with shorty headers. I have two questions for you. First, will a 160' theromstat make any difference in northern minnesota our highest temp is 90', highest on record 96', and averages in the upper 70's and 80's. My second is the one I am most concerned with is, what aftermarket cam shaft have you seen on your dyno's for this truck has given it the most horse power and torque in the quarter mile, please include the lifts and durations of the cam. I want to install the cam shaft and some e-fans and send my PCM to wheatly for tuning.
  4. To find this supercharger on ebay type in 6.0 supercharger in the search box. or go to the website it is finally up and running
  5. Ok, I found out that they are selling on ebay. 2850.00 through their company.
  6. I do agree with you. It looks like it was was put together with parts of a common household clothes washer and dryer. I am just curious about if anyone knows anything about this new unit such as power gains and or if someone has tried it yet. The tubing can be dressed up. and the blower well? I guess it kinda has a old school billet look to it. I am just looking around for a good supercharger for the ole' SS
  7. It is $2850.00 I am just spitballin but I think it is low price right now because it is new and they want to get it out on the market. here is their website. http://jetsupercharger.com/index.html I just want to know some feedback on this because I might, MIGHT consider buying and trying it before they jack up the prices. It has a three year warranty
  8. I looked up its website and it is still under construction. The base price I have seen for this jet supercharger is $2800 for the kit. intercooler avalable.
  9. I was just browsing the internet and found this supercharger online does anyone know if this super charger is any good. It is supposed to be new. the specs are. This kit fits 1999 thru 2005 LS1, CK 1500 trucks, which includes the 4.8, 5.3, 5.7 and 6.0L V8 Chevy, GMC, Hummer H-2, and Cadillac Escalade. You can expect a 45% increase in power and torque at only 8PSI. The T-5 is not something your engine will outgrow; these superchargers are rated to 1700+CFM. The more built your engine is, the more power it will produce! The design of the T-5 provides higher overall pressure with no loss in midrange power. Can be mounted relatively quickly (kit takes 3-4 hours for installation). Included in the kit are: Jet Technologies T-5 Supercharger Bracket and mounting hardware 6 rib dedicated belt New air filter Aluminum and rubber tubing, complete with stainless connectors Vacuum relocate hardware Self-contained lubrication system Maintenance /operations /installation manual This kit is a non-intercooled system. Intercooler is available -- contact seller for more information. This system runs inline with all the other accessories. The bracket comes assembled. It needs only a longer 6-rib belt (included) to run off the existing engine components. Can free flow through the supercharger for those who want to run supercharged only part-time, although we have been running this unit full-time on daily drivers with no detrimental effects to either the supercharger or the engine. Has its own self-contained lubrication system -- no need to tap into engine. The lube reservoir system is mounted in the supercharger itself. External lubrication reservoir also available - contact seller for more information. Kit does not include fuel injectors or PCM upgrade Both PCM and injectors are sold separately and do not fall under Jet Technologies warranty. All kits have available a 3 year limited warranty; please read instructions before you install and operate.
