  1. I have a stock one that I cleaned up with a dremel and smoothed out... I can send pics if interested...
  2. It is kind of a pain but it can be done... You can pull plugs and look into each cylinder to find the wet one or check for the rich or wet plug but sometimes you wont be able to identify that way... You can also take the fuel rail off and leave the injectors and all other lines hooked up and cycle the key on power to pressurize the system and look for which injector is leaking.... I am pretty sure you can use some scan tools to identify fuel trims I cant remember exactly how to check this way....
  3. I'm sorry Randy, but you have a problem with an injector or your check valve in your fuel pump... Even with a return style fuel system it should stay primed for a minimum of a few hours... If it dropped to 45psi from the time you turned the key to looking at the gauge and then still continue to drop rapidly you have something not working right... If it is indeed fuel in your oil then it most likely a leaky injector.... Return style fuel systems can last days at 60psi in the rails...
  4. Whats the good word Randy? You find the problem yet?
  5. That pressure gauge will work just fine... You could of probably just went to a local parts store and bought one or sometimes they let you borrow tools for a refundable charge... Regardless it is a nice tool to have anyway and they don't cost that much...
  6. Some 90's flair and swag!!! I love how wild all the colors were and all that fabrication LOL... Not my taste now but back in the day when I was rocking corduroy pants and cutoff jean shorts those were some bada$$ trucks!!
  7. Can you do a fuel pressure prime check... Hook up a fuel pressure gauge tool to the Schrader valve and prime the system by turning on the key to the power position but do not crank... It should hold pressure at your pumps rating... If it holds pressure then there shouldn't be a problem with your fuel system but instead a seal somewhere where it is getting by when it is running... If it begins to drop right away or even after a few minutes you may have a stuck injector or other issues within your fuel system causing the pressure to drop and leaking fuel into your oil and as well making it hard to start due to losing prime... The system holds pressure to allow for easy starts... Another check may be the spark plugs to find out which injector or cylinder is having the leak as to narrow you field of search... But first I would check the fuel pressure at the rails to ensure it is a leak and then do further diagnostics...
  8. I have one overhead for my boost and fuel pressure and it looks really nice... Its all billet iodized black aluminum and it wasn't to hard to install either... It is a little hard to read the when going WOT but its clean and looks great... I can post up a pic if you want
  9. I am down every other weekend weather permitting... It would really cool if anyone would like to help me install a nitrous system and battery relocation and or show me how to do a paint correction on my truck
  10. I will get two from you... Are they pre-shrunk??? PM sent with order details... If you get extra hoodies I may snag a XL Blk from ya next month
  11. I always rub down the inside of a new smoker with a drenched towl of olive oil, lots of salt and pepper... Then heavy smoke it with a blend of all the wood I got for minimum 2-3 hours constantly adding more wet wood chips to ensure it stays smoking...
  12. Don't forget to season the new grill first before actually cooking food on it
  13. I think I am going to smoke a injected venison roast again on memorial day... So much flavor and so tender for a normally tough chunk of meat lol... I'll take some pics for yall....
  14. I have had a smoker for 5 years but don't nearly smoke as much as I want to... I get to smoke something about once a week in the summer and maybe 1-2 times a month in the winter... I have stand up vertical smoker just wide enough for a full size turkey but tall enough to fit almost two lol... I have all the wood chips from apple, cherry, alder, hickory, mesquite etc. but I go through a lot of apple, hickory, and mesquite as I do mostly poultry and beef... I just got done smoking some sucker from the river last weekend and it turned out really good with alder and a hint of cherry... The only thing I do differently with my ribs is after a thick wet smoke I flash grill my ribs for just a couple mins each side to caramelize the BBQ sauce like svens chipotle or a good homemade stuff... Mmmm Mmmmm good... I love to smoke and cook anything from soups to pastas and any type of meat from duck, venison to cow...
  15. I run the Taylors 8.2mm thundervolt and they are great so far and no issues
  16. You aint lying there... Dam black shows all... My silver Colorado always looks clean even with a layer of dust on it... The black SSS sits outside for more than a few hours and it looks like it went down dirt roads all day errr... But for a 12 year old truck my paint still looks good...
  17. Charlie Wheatley is out of Houston and does awesome work... I am sure he would be willing to do a tune for you in person if you emailed him...

  22. I got a set of dual fans from the scrap yard out of a Grand Prix I believe and only paid $80 and it was fairly easy to install... I had to use my own relay and then wire it to the correct port on the PCM...
