I overheated mine one day and probably warped them... I remember the day too that it happened lol... About a 85' day sunny and I buried the needle on the speedo and had to come to a stop fast and just smelt the the pads burn and from then on out it shook lol...

Got my truck out last Saturday and got a new tweaked tune from Wheatley... Lets just say I love AWD burnouts from a dig!!! Little squirly when the front end lets loose, but puts a huge smile on my face especially when i look back and see some rubber stuck to the road LOL...

LOL.. In my DD I look like a dirt poor redneck in my 1989 chevy Ext cab with a rebuilt 305 Boat motor and marine cam, beyond rusty and fenders a flappin' haha... But in the summer time I have the ole SSS with 54k miles and not a speck of rust anywhere as well as my 2011 Yamaha stryker.. Wife has a 2006 SS impala that we take on long trips though cause the 89' only gets about 9mpg

I don't even drive my truck if there is a chance for rain... Does that count? LOL I do ocassionally get caught in a rain cloud and I get upset because of road slime and usually car wash ASAP..

I would love to use race fuel but I have no access to it in my area... I may just buy a 6 gallon jug when I fill up my NO2 tank... The closets NO2 and race fuel is 1.5-2hrs away

I agree but he is not too far off... I'd say around 375-380 at the crank... Just remember 345 is at the crank hp so a good tune worth 20hp and a good exhaust 10-30hp with headers

Crank pin Question? Ok I have never pinned my crank and balancer even with a maggie and all my power adders... The reason is 6 years ago when finished my Cam shaft upgrade I tightened the bolt down but not good enough and found it hand loose one day inspecting it, which scared the crap out of me, I wasn't aware of the pinning technique back then so I used the same bolt and red locktight and cranked her down as much as I could within the foot pound specs... I guess what I am asking, is the...
