I'm looking to change wheel styles and really like a chrome 5-spoke design but with a lip. I'd buy chrome SS wheels if it weren't for them not having a lip. Any ideas? This Joe Gibbs wheel is similiar to what I'm looking for, one piece spoke, no fake rivets:

It was probably a website generated ad such as google ads. From what I've heard they are generated by your search habits.I don't see any ad's so I might be wrong.

I don't think black surround ones are being made anymore, I've only seen red ones...at least I haven't been able to find any. I think lmctruck.com has some that have the chrome mesh but you have to paint the surround the color you want. See if their part # 39-4167 is what you want. I pray to the "SS Gods" I never hit a deer or get hit in the front end and destroy mine.

Good price, looks just like the one I bought off ebay a few years ago. I think I paid less than $300 shipped back then. Just looked up my old post about mine and I paid $360 shipped so this hood is a lot better buy than I got.

Ron...pufferss was making and selling 3pc roll pans. He hasn't been on here since 2010 so don't know if he's still making/selling them or not. Here is a thread where he talks about them. Here is a side-by-side pic of his and BSER's pan. pufferss's is on the right.

Which roll pan are you getting? I haven't researched for a long time but last I heard the only roll pans that will fit up with a SS's rear cladding is a BSER or pufferss pans.

Front differential was completely rebuilt. I can't seem to find the invoice for it right now.

Hmm, grinding noise...I had a grinding noise in my 03's frontend and "Doc Mechanic" said for $2000 he can make it go away...and I'll be danged if he wasn't right....but it took major surgery...a complete rebuild!

I think it's from a 05 Tahoe GM Part # 1522419. There's a few threads on here about it from a couple of years back.

I live in an area with about 60K population and I see a lot more TBSS's than SSS's.

Just like people calling Suburbans, Tahoes, Avalanches, Expiditions, Explorers, Durangos, etc TRUCKS. My definition of TRUCK doe not include any of those nor does it include our SSS's. My definition of a truck is 1-ton and above, anything below is a pickup. But hey, I'm old as dirt, so my opinion is probably considered very outdated!

PCMFORLESS has an office in Mooresville and do custom tuning. I've been running a conservative tune from them for 6-7 years and have not had a bit of trouble with it. It really woke up my '03 SS.

I do my best to buy Made in the USA whenever possible. I bought Cooper Tires for the SS because they're made in the USA, The 5 Smith & Wesson M&P pistols I bought this year are also made in the USA.

I run factory Avalanche wheels.
