Thanks, Drove it off the Show Room Floor in 2003!

This is the second time a seller on ebay has used a pic of mine, first time it was an ad for fog lights. Like Dan said, it's the hazards of posting pic's on the internet!
-
I was on ebay and found an ad using a pic of my SS! Dang internet picture thieves! Here's the ad link, it's the far right pic:http://www.ebay.com/itm/20X8-5-AMERICAN-RACING-TORQ-THRUST-ST-CHROME-RIMS-/260911932257?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Wheels&hash=item3cbf902361&vxp=mtr

Retirement - How long do you got to go?
Rays B4U replied to Stitches040's topic in Off-Topic/General
Been retired for a bit over 5 years now, after 33 years on the job. -
Hey Shuan! You're right and with FREE...you get what you pay for it!

"BEST BET" Wow, you really recommend someone commit the crime of Perjury for a equipment ticket???!!! I have been directed by the judge to go out into the parking lot and verify that the violation has in fact been corrected....Is it worth going to jail over??!!

Washington State Law WAC 204-24-050 Use of tire chains or other traction devices. (a) Exception for all wheel drive vehicles. When "chains required" signs are posted, all-wheel drive vehicles will be exempt from the chain requirement when all wheels are in gear and are equipped with approved traction devices as specified in WAC 204-24-040 provided that tire chains for at least one set of drive tires are carried in the vehicle.

Rays B4U replied to K.Brown Customs's topic in Appearance, Cleaning, & Detailing
I received this one for Christmas a few years back. Then I had my lower grilles and brake ducts chrome plated too. -
looking for a quiet exhaust with headers..

Years back I put on a Flo-Pro 2504 Dual In/Out Muffler. I like it, it's just a bit louder than stock with very little in the cab drone that so many mufflers have. -
I don't think I'll make it. Plus it's a long ways to drive with the considerable chance of a rain out.

03 with 59,xxx Drove it off the showroom floor with an ear-to-ear grin, and still get that grin when I drive it!

I have a Black SS but I do everything in my power to keep from having to cross the Cascade Curtain into that zoo so it wasn't me. I did see a black SS yesterday on SR28 east/south of East Wenatchee that had window vent deflectors on it...I waved but didn't receive a wave back...might have been because I was driving my boss's piece of toyota!

I've been here a long time, and as usual Josh & Zane have gone above and beyond in their efforts to get us back up and running. Thanks Josh & Zane! Ray

Welcome from the Dry-Side! Another fairly common issue is front differential growl at slow speed while turning. I had to have mine rebuilt at just over 36000 miles.

Anyone Know Where I Can Get An Elecrtic Hide A Plate?
Rays B4U replied to gmJake's topic in Off-Topic/General
At one time I considered making and selling them, but just the cost of materials alone put it over $100 and I doubt very much if many people would want to pay more than that. -
Anyone Know Where I Can Get An Elecrtic Hide A Plate?
Rays B4U replied to gmJake's topic in Off-Topic/General
Yep, out of frustration of not finding one that fit the SS I built my own. Started out first by making a manually operated one and then took the challenge and made it electrically operated. Here's a couple of pic's of my manually operated one: License Plate Showing position License Plate Hidden position And here's a link to my electrically operated one, "Click the Pic" to see it in operation: -
I loved watching "Grumpy's Toy", he was my favorite Pro Stock racer back in the day,
-
Me too, but if it doesn't fit, it would be nice to have one of them post up saying it doesn't fit so another member doesn't buy one thinking it's a simple bolt on.

Have you or anyone that ordered the style line roll pan had it put on yet, does it match up to the factory SS cladding?

Black Hood Pictures
Rays B4U replied to SuiCiDeByDesire's topic in Appearance, Cleaning, & Detailing
Seeings how the first SS came out in 03 you might have better luck on seeing 01 & 02 hoods on a regular Silverado forum. -
Wheels look really good, IMHO they'd even look better as 20's with the stock size tire on it. What size tire is on it?
