when i had my truck i never liked LED tails but those look pretty good. good find
-
depending on your elevation and DA mid 14 to high 14s is definitely not a far reach. my truck ran 14.7 multiple times with a tune intake / exhaust
-
Yes I was actually going to have it re-sprayed if I still had it.

Was alerted by a member on here about this on CL . Id really hate to see this truck turn hands again I even spoke to the owner I told him I might buy it back if he actually sells it. I just dont want to see this truck fall into the wrong hands and get wrecked or some genius puts a plow on it or something retarded. Sucks he already screwed up the gauge cluster trying to do a diy fix it job on the gas gauge. This is what I was afraid of when i sold it http://longisland.craigslist.org/wan/5437015592.html

lol there was a guy selling a lowered modded rcsb on cl "claimed" 6.0 was in it with SS badges on the door. it was cheap so it caught my eye but it didnt take long to de-bunk his claim. it turned out to be a 4.8

whats funny is my stock H2 emits more pollution than my modified camaro. im all for low emission vehicles but i think the epa is barking up the wrong tree with this one -
thats awesome congrats man

Looking at an SS. Need advice on used model modifications

regarding the procharged truck i would definitely make sure everything works as it should and do a thorough look over on the motor and trans. if driven and tuned properly you should be fine but that price is a bit steep -
i just read through this entire thread and now im starving
-
take a look in the build section. youl see a bunch of different supercharged / turbo / hci setups
-
sounds like your going in the right direction. anyone can give you part and brand recommendations but without your goals they wont be accurate.

even tho i dont have my SS anymore i still lurk around as do lots of the old heads. i tried getting the new owner to sign up when i sold it lol so i could make sure he doesn't ruin it. when i joined 7 years ago this place was crazy full of activity. not so much anymore. its to be expected when these trucks are all getting old

lol i think i hit 3000 like 2-3 years ago? these posts used to be like 10 pages long with everyone catching there freebie

Need recommendations for a manual beater sedan!
8hnpSS replied to mctwist77's topic in Off-Topic/General
i would say the g35. there easy to find in manual and are very comfortable and fun to drive. there also offered in AWD. repairing and maintenance would basically be the same as the nissan. ive had a few friends with e46 m3s and all have spent a considerable amount of money on repairs to the point where they 2 of them sold the car due to to many issues. -
what part of jersey are you from? i just sold mine 2 weeks ago but welcome. i also have a 99 SS m6 car there very fun cars to drive but very uncomfortable lol
-
Definitely was not the replacement lol. keep trying guys

after 8 years of ownership i watched my truck drive away from me with someone else yesterday. still not sure if it was the right thing to do but i just had no time for it anymore with my career. also i have honestly lost interest in it over the past 2-3 years and its been just deteriorating slowly. it was replaced with a worthy replacement imo which is why it wasnt so hard for me. ill still be around on the website i still own a SS car lol this last time i drove her to the owners house. she will be missed

ive been up and down the sell or not sell road a few times. i wound up never selling my truck. but if you use your truck as a "sports car" only driving it on nice days and going for spiritted drives while the rest of the world is out in their corvettes / camaros/ classic cars and you want a sports car i would conisder trading it. also if funds allow. if the truck serves some truck purpose for you than i would keep it around. i wound up buying a 99 camaro SS because i was just getting bored of driving a full size pick up truck like it was a sports car on sunny days. its just not the same as a proper RWD 6 speed car that can handle. just my .02 i still probably will never sell my truck but im going to take it down a different route
-
ive had mine for i would say 5 years now? i paid a total of 400 for them with ceramic coating as well. you cant beat that price for full stainless LTs with mid pipes
-
......And its gone....!

damn that makes you realize how old these trucks really are with that kind of music and advertising LOL. im glad to say i bought mine when they were still being produced and still have it.
