  1. your dash SS insert is upside down. and the gauge cluster overlay is not stock either. glws
  2. i had a built blue SSS for 7 years as well as a red 4th gen SS. i still have the camaro sold the truck last summer. these trucks are awesome but the camaro is way more fun to drive. just my .02. good luck with your trade hopefully it works out
  3. not trying to be an ass but if you want answers you should write out a description of your issue inside the thread. and then everyone would be able to read it properly and understand whats going on. sounds like the steering box as said above. if it were a p.s issue it would be hard to turn both ways.
  4. idk what your trying to say. at least write it common English in the thread so we can understand what your saying. the huge pic of your truck isnt going to help solve the issue
  5. nice that looks awesome. always wanted to drop mine when i had it but never got around to it
  6. i could see that being stolen off cars real fast lol. simple solution tho if you dont want to wire up a back up camera and a head unit. a real hefty price tag also
  7. the little switch on the dash near the SS emblem is usually the passenger air bag control.
  8. unfortunately there are savages out there that have no respect for anyone's property. a few months ago i dealt with about 30 vehicle breakins within a 2-3 block span over 1 night. all were broken into and were looted clean surprisingly none were stolen. moral of the story is there are definitely people out there who dont care about getting caught and will take your car if they want it. any updates with the truck?
  9. i think you guys loose track that were talking about a 10 year old GM truck thats 2 generations old. majority of these trucks are rust buckets that are in need of paint / rust repair. if you think that rust is bad you better raise your price range up a lot because you wont find much better than that unless you want a garage queen that was stored out of the elements. the price is average not great not the worst. as stated above if the truck is clean otherwise and mechanically sound it doesn't hurt to make an offer
  10. thats not bad at all. some trucks up here in NY have rust bubbles and rusted out fenders already. its so bad the entire under carriage looks like it was painted brown and you can see it from a distance without going under the rig. for a truck that has been driven thats better than average imo. if everything else is clean i wouldn't let that steer you away its not as if the rust is bad enough to rot anything. as stated above use it as leverage and do a thorough check of the brake lines. i just replaced the brake in my H2 a few months ago.
  11. your transmission shop is terrible. switch before they steal more of your money
  12. i carry a glock 19 with this all the time. love it great holster http://aliengearholsters.com/alien-gear-cloak-tuck-3-0-iwb-holster-inside-the-waistband.html
  13. the biggest weak link in the drive train is the trans by far. if your relatively stock it should be fine for the most part. front ends go out here and there but its no were near as common as a blown trans.
  14. i had a brake failure on an exit ramp off a highway doing about 60 in my old yukon. i had enough time to slow the truck down with the e brake but i was shitting my pants. turns out a brake line was corroded and just blew out at that point recently my hummer had a brake line bust open also. break fluid all over the place. its safe to say this generation GM truck has a break line issue. im curious if you order the stainless doorman let me know how they are
  15. congrats thats a badass car definitely worthy of replacing a truck lol
  16. nice rig man. definitely get that thing lower and it will look badass. i still havent put up a pic of my h2 that replaced my SS. it took a while to set in but its setting in now
  17. my biggest fear when i sold mine. i dont care if they rice it out i just dont want it to be wrecked.
  18. shit where have you been man
  19. lol thats how it all starts man. then you get addicted and deplete your bank account haha. looks good tho enjoy your rig
  20. ive had both style superchargers i cant say which i liked better each had its pros - cons. the radix was great for reliability / longevity i believe it requires an oil change once every 50k?. made really good instant power also. the procharger is able to out power the radix and honestly nothing beats the sound of those things at an idle. but they require regular oil changes and have a shorter life span
  21. it looks like ill be off that saturday and sunday. unless i get pulled in for some detail ill keep you updated
  22. wow thats awesome. hefty price tag but for someone looking for a basically brand new ISS it could be worth it
  23. congrats dan!! very happy for you guys
